Well done that man. I did the same after the floods back in 2007; rescued a load of trapped perch from two flooded tyre tracks. Glad to say there’s now a thriving perch population in the local pond.

Well done. I have unfortunately needed to rescue many fish due to the exact opposite, lack of water and oxygen crashes causing fish to die in huge numbers in my local disused canal in the last few years. I saved hundreds, pretty much all tench because sadly those needing more oxygen such as pike and perch had already perished. It was shocking that not enough people wanted to help, local people did, but not anglers. It cost me a fortune buying aerators for multiple buckets to revive and transport them. Some beautiful fish too including tench bigger than I knew existed there, the biggest a huge 7 1/2lb. It is incredibly rewarding to do it though, even though it left me out of pocket!😊
