Thought it was just my system causing the unstable 4khz polling rate on my x2v2 mini. I've been sticking with 1khz/2khz as well. Thanks for the review.

The USB you plug it into does matter, my motherboard have all 3.1 USB ports, but there are two of them that is native to the CPU and those can hold higher polling rate longer than the other USB ports (e.g. four can do 5-7Khz but is inconsistent, the other two can do 7-8Khz consistently). Don't use USB ports that goes to the bridge I/O chip but that is native to the CPU instead.

The polling instability is normal for all 4-8Khz mice, even the best wireless mice such as the Razer Viper V3 Pro have dropped polls on 4 or 8 Khz to preserve battery life. This is because when you do small or slow movements it doesn't need to saturate the whole polling rate budget, it only hits the polling rate limit when you do very fast long swipes. The polling rate you set for all wireless mice is more of a cap than a persistent rate, there isn't a single wireless mice out there than can sustain full 4Khz or 8Khz which is by design. Never had an issue with anything from pulsar, and I own vaxee, Razer, Logitech, and unfortunately glorious

The regular X2H has different grip, scroll wheel and clicks to the regular X2H version, you would have liked the regular X2H much better.

How does the curvature compare to the XM1?

On paper it's much less aggressive but for me it's virtually identical since the hump forces your ring finger into the curvature (closer to the middle). If anything the sloped sides are the most noticeable difference vs the XM1, in addition to the front being narrower.

@@yetanothermousereview I grip onto side curvature aggressivley using my thumb and my ring finger. I loved the Viper Ultimate for it's aggressive curvature and have previously mained an X2 for this grip. Would you reccommend the X2H for it?

​@@Lumidon Difficult to say. The Viper Ultimate is pretty low profile, and the X2 hump is also not that big. The X2H has a seriously large hump and it feels quite close to the za12 hump in practice, which was ultimately uncomfy for me. If you have big hands it might not be a problem. As far as just curvature alone, if you can swap between the viper ultimate and x2 with no issues then the x2h should also be fine. The x2h is just a bit more curved than the x2.

Left + Right + Middle activates pairing mode, you don't want to do that

For me, personally, Pulsar have fallen a long way from the Xlite V2 I used to SWEAR by because of what you got for the price. The coating sucked - that was my ONE, and ONLY complaint. Now, I wouldn;t even bother with a Pulsar mouse. They got greedy - IMO.

After several mouse’s, I really can recommend this. The build quality is on top, the new wheel it’s just what the community wants. One of the most fast ms (or the most) so it’s for the name speaks, esports. The oled screen it’s reprogramable , so u can put everything what u want soon. Bump 10/10. I’m so disappointed with ur review. 0 stats and 0 facts, try again buddy. Actually my actual mouse is FM ULX but, may this win.

got the pulsar x2h2 mini and i must say im highly dissapointed with the clicks they feel so mushy and theres SO much travel compared to the original logitech superlight. a 4 year old mouse is way way better than pulsar in my opinion. Just ordered the vaxee np01 wireless its the same shape as the logitech but slightly smaller hopefully i wonnt have those build quality issue. Nice review btw

OG x2 shape is pretty good in my opinion, but pulsar in general is a gamble qc-wise. As far as 4k mice are concerned they're all pretty much a wash. The 4k mice coming out of china are more or less gonna have all the same variable levels of qc. However I've heard great things about lamzu though I haven't actually purchased a lamzu mouse yet.

@@yetanothermousereview Lamzu is great. Just none of their shapes ive tried yet are for me. Going to get the maya soon as they went back to blue shells i really dont like opticals anymore. I think im done with "back hump" mice too. They just dont fit my grip. Only one thats come close was zowies za13. I need that micro adjustment room while also keeping that "stability" of higher profile mice. I think only a good shaped center hump mouse / ergo will provide that.
