This super easy potato casserole is conjured up super quickly and is super tasty as lunch or dinner. The gratin becomes particularly tender with cream and also baked with cheese - it tastes particularly good!
Ingredients for the pumpkin and potato casserole
500 g pumpkin (e.g. Hokkaido)
500 g potatoes
250 g milk
200 g whipped cream
Salt and pepper to taste
½ teaspoon nutmeg
½ teaspoon paprika, sweet
150 g cheese
1. Peel the potatoes and pumpkin and cut into thin slices. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees top / bottom heat.
2. Put the milk and the whipped cream in a saucepan and season with salt and pepper.
3. Add the potatoes and pumpkin slices and bring to the boil, then reduce the heat a little and simmer for 10 minutes (stir frequently).
4. Pour the potato and pumpkin mixture into the prepared dish and sprinkle with cheese. Put the form in the oven and bake for about 15-20 minutes. Enjoy your meal! Enjoy the delicious potato gratin with pumpkin!
