Heck yes! The punisher is sooo cool! I remember when I was a kid my folks let me buy the Thomas Jane punisher movie because it was a marvel movie haha.! I also absolutely love the Walgreens punisher figure! It is my personal favorite representation of the character. I totally remember the cap gun smell too. Man toys used to be sooooo fun!

Great memories! Those cap guns were a huge part of my childhood!

That ghost rider punisher is probably the craziest and one of the greatest figrues ever made. I have you to thank that I know that punisher took over war machines amor and that he’s ghost rider.

Great video. The Punisher is one of my favorites. Would be great to get the 2099 or the Fraction/olivetti post Civil War where the Punisher dressed up as his version of Captain America. Little campy but great artwork. The face painted Punishers are probably based off the look from the game in one of the campaigns. It followed the Thomas Jane movie which he did the voice for as well.

That Punisher with the Captain America look would be awesome!

12:49 - 13:46 I’ve always wanted this Punisher in my collection, but I still have yet to find a discounted one of these figures on the aftermarket sites. I may have to settle for kitbashing the Hasbro “Riders” biker Punisher head sculpt on one of those more-traditional/superhero-like suited figure bodies at some point. Regardless, he’s often an interesting character to read about in the comics, and I’m glad you had the opportunity to spotlight him here!

@chocolatemangos53889 күн бұрын
@ I’ve yet to really get into any but from watching the video and learning a bit more about the history the 90s/2000s seems to really have my interest. Any particular era you could recommend? :)
@CarbonScoring9 күн бұрын
@@chocolatemangos5388 Yes! I would start with the Steven Grant/Mike Zeck miniseries, then head to the first Garth Ennis/Steve Dillon trade "Welcome Back Frank" - then go from there

I was intrigued upon hearing that Select had restrictions on articulation… never knew that. Have you covered that topic as to why? I’d love to hear that history
@CarbonScoring13 күн бұрын
I think it just come down to the Marvel Select license being different from the Marvel Legends license so that the two lines are different enough not to “compete” against each other. If you were paying what Hasbro must be paying for the Marvel Legends license then you don’t want someone else getting to make the same thing

Im very happy to see you doing a Punisher video..i picked up the Frank Castle Punisher Bushwacker 2 Pack a couple months back & its amazing. I'm a lifelong NYC resident as well as a Marvel Comics fan..& i remember the Punisher's 1st appearance in Spider Man #129 & i followed him ever since..i actually have the entire Mick Zeck Punisher mini series..i picked it up at my local NYC comic book store back in the day. Lastly.. I've always believed that the Spider Man villain Scourge was a knock off Punisher..id like to hear your opinion. Anyways great video brother.. looking forward to more of your Marvel Legends reviews 👑

I’ll have to go back and do some homework to see if Marvel originally planned on Scourge being Frank and then had to change it - great call!

A lot of people want daredevil for spider-man 4 but I think it should be the punisher. At first they click cuz they both don’t have a past(no way home fallout) but then spider-man realizes he doesn’t want to become like frank and needs a personal life and maybe Frank learns from Peter to lighten up (a tad). Anyway Tre if you can pass that on to Mr. Feige or anyone at Sony that would be great.

I had the Walgreens Punisher....but something was not right about it. I wanted a classic 1970's-1980's style Punisher. I bought the retro carded version and the accessories for the Punisher from the Punisher/Bushwacker 2 pack. I need to find a custom classic 1970's style Punisher head now.
