I cried too when I read the verses of hate towards non believers, about permissible wife beating, rules about adult men divorcing their infant/child wives, wives compared to fields and are to be ploughed at the whim of their husbands, Jews and Christians being the worst of creatures. It broke my heart that such evil is considered beautiful by ignorant people who are taken in by this deception. DO YOUR HOMEWORK!

This shows that your soul was seeking and knowing the truth all the time. Just your eyes and you heart were blind. Finally you found you destination. Brother: There is one space in your heart which only can be filled with the love of the one allmighty god. When you don't fill it you'll never be truly happy. True, those verses are present in the Holy book, but one needs to know the events during which those verses were revealed to understand the context of it. May Allah guide you. For example, Quran doesnt say to hate jews and christians specifically, but Allah dislikes shirk and says that the disbelievers will go to the hell in general. christianity religion says the same thing about disbelievers and so such thing is believed in every sort of religion. Jews and christians are described as the people of the book(ahl al kitab) in Quran and they are not worst of creatures as you describe here as they are humans too like us and there are good people and bad people in every religion. There used to be good jewish communities during the time of prophet Muhammad SAW who used to coexist alongside the muslims under the protection of islamic empire and they were able to practice their religion freely even after refusing to accept islam. There is no compulsion in islam. Maybe you are reading the wrong or some other incorrect translations

​@faithreasons3041 god is warning the disbelievers who reject the truth, if you didn't understand the truth then he is not talking to you. It has to br clear to you. If you reject the truth then you only have yourself to blame. This logic also applies to Christians and Jews who have seen the truth in islam but continue their disbelief in books that were changed by man. The other points you made are clearly nickpicked or copied from muslim hating websites or preacher. It's too much to write on here. Your other points like wife beetjng was disproved or refuted many times by the muslims but those hater will still repeat those flase allegations and your not hearing the muslim side makes you one sided. So my recommendation is speak to a imam at a mosque about your misconceptions. You will be surprised by the response. May Allah,(one creator) guide you.

Reliance and faith in God is called Ta-wakal is when you know everything that is happening is with God's permission and you have trust in it that everything will be fine as long as you rely and believe in God which is observed in the story of Abraham AS. I was about to write the same thing as the comment below me. He was a jinn. Jinn roamed the earth and caused destruction and death long before we got here. That's why the angels were shocked that Allah was making another being with free will. All jinn have free will, just like we do. That was the only way iblis could refuse to bow. I wanted to comment that also. Thank you for commenting this. I just want to add a little thing about Jinns, it's that the Jinns are intellectually a lot bellow than humans. That is the reason human are superior than them. Human has the immense gift of intelligence, knowledge and imagination with that we can reason our choices what the Jinns don't have. They can not deal with new knowledge, they can not create new knowledge, they just process whatever is given to them. Either they rebel or follow they have no middle ground.

The 8th rule you mentioned (everything that happens is good) reminded me of a Hadith. The Prophet ﷺ said: Wondrous is the affair of the believer, as there is good for him in every matter and this is not the case with anyone but the believer. If he experiences ease, he thanks Allah and thus there is good for him. If he experiences hardship, he remains patient, and thus there is good for him.

I really appreciate that you watched it all. I have watched it multiple times because it is so interesting and the points he raised are so genuine and his explanation is just awesome. As a revert to Islam from Christianity, I can tell you that in Islam God's existence is both rational and evidence based and God (Allah) does not mind if any of His creations asking a question because God created us humans as an intellectual creature who learns and questioning is the basic part of learning, in fact you heard the discussion between Allah and the angels and Allah did not mind their genuine question rather He answered it in a way that satisfied their curiosity. If you read Quran, you will find other instances where even great Prophet Ebrahim (Peace be upon him) asked Allah questions despite he had one of the strongest faiths. Furthermore, God in Islam is uniquely one, no children, no parents, no associates & partners and in fact nothing is like Him. Since God is the objective reality, so it does not rely on any subjective stuff like personal personal experiences which can neither be tested, falsified or even reproduced.

Quick Note: in we believe Angels never disobey god, they always follow god's commands. We don't believe that Satan was an angel who rebelled against god or anything like that. Satan/ Iblis is from Jinn (another creature of kind who like human can do right/wrong, and in this life they are like us ordered to believe and there are believers/disbelievers from them, and disbelievers will be punished etc...), at first Iblis was very pious that god raised him from earth to worship god with the angels.

Man its like this is the first time u came to the understanding that there is a religion out there that gives u all the answers to all ur questions n reinforces ur beliefs n experiences thru life n gives u in drpth knowledge of the most inner workings n reasons of the whole of creation n not jus the universe we see. Islam and the Qur’an are not limited to a group of people. Islam and the Qur’an were sent to all humanity. The Prophet, may Allah pbuh, says: “O people, your Lord is One.” There is no superiority for an Arab over a non-Arab, nor for a non-Arab over an Arab, nor for a white or a red over a black, nor for a black over a red or white except through piety. Indeed, the most honorable of you in the sight of Allah is the most fearful of you.

One additional key point about adam story , God prepared Adam to make their choices but also make the wrong one, because God had to teach adam how to repent if he did. The words Adam recieved from God also included on how to repent which is fundamental in Islam. That was the last preparation for Adam before going down to earth. Guidance on what to do if u did wrong, because God knew humans will make mistakes. Show regret and remorse and repent to God with pure intentions.

(33) He said, "Never would I prostrate to a human whom You created out of clay from an altered black mud." (34) [Allāh] said, "Then depart from it,[677] for indeed, you are expelled. (35) And indeed, upon you is the curse until the Day of Recompense." (36) He said, "My Lord, then reprieve me until the Day they are resurrected (37) [Allāh] said, "So indeed, you are of those reprieved (38) Until the Day of the time well-known." (39) [Iblees] said, "My Lord, because You have put me in error, I will surely make [disobedience] attractive to them [i.e., mankind] on earth, and I will mislead them all (40) Except, among them, Your chosen servants." (41) [Allāh] said, "This is a path [of return] to Me [that is] straight. (42) Indeed, My servants - no authority will you have over them, except those who follow you of the deviators. (43) And indeed, Hell is the promised place for them all (44) It has seven gates; for every gate is of them [i.e., Satan's followers] a portion designated. (45) Indeed, the righteous will be within gardens and springs, (46) [Having been told], "Enter it in peace, safe [and secure]."

There is an important chapter in the Quran the talks in detail about the good nd bad that happens to in our lives which Allah emphasizes that All of our experiences is for our own good no matter how bad it looks in our eyes. This chapter is called Al-Kahf. The more I read it the more fascinated I become.
