Yessss, you're right, when you read a book that deeply resonates with you, you often feel compelled to share your feelings with others, wanting them to experience the same satisfaction you did rather than keeping it to yourself

I'm reading... outside, while walking. Not all the time, but I like that ! So, I have no problem wherever I read, as, for me… the place doesn't matter, the book.. Yes. And, the weight of it also :) Still, if there is some noise, just have to move further. Thanks to make me rethink about seneca.. he's one on my (long) reading list !

I've always been a walking reader! When I was younger, I used to feel weird about it. These days, I figure if people can walk around with their nose in their phone and no one cares, then I can walk around with my nose in a book! Plus, I generally don't care what anyone thinks about me anymore. One of the (only) perks of getting older. LOL. I did almost drown one time. I was walking near the lakefront, re-reading one of the Harry Potter books. (As an adult.) I was totally lost in it. When I finally looked up, my foot was only a step or two from the edge. That's not an exaggeration. If I had not stopped at that moment, I would have gone right over the edge. Have I mentioned I can't swim? And have a terror of water? Yeah, I don't do that anymore.

I'm just starting this video, but had to comment before I forget. 2:00 Wow! Where can I find a friend like Seneca? If someone did this for me, I think I would burst into tears. Even if the passage did not impact me as much or the way the person intended, the thought of someone taking time to think of me this deeply would touch my heart.

I recently finished Allen's "The Notebook." A wonderfully researched history with excellent case studies. Predictably, I like the Darwin section.

I would love to read The Notebook but the price just keeps going up nearly everyday on Amazon. Now over $54. Anyone have an idea what’s going on?
