2022, I'm still listening to this song and I still absolutely love it. It's so beautiful and will never ever age. Even to this day, it still reminds me of when I went out for a night out with my Secondary schoolmates, met a friend of my Primary schoolmates and sixth form classmates and asked her for a dance and a photo with me. Such a lovely young lady and to this day, she's genuinely one of my best friends and I see her as one of my heroes, idol's, inspirations, rocks and role models. I'll also never forget meeting her again during my second year in college. We would often meet up for at lunchtime, sometimes breaktimes and have lovely conversations.

Michael Vander Wal I feel like it's because she went about it in the wrong way. She fell out with a lot of influential people because she wanted more than she agreed to then wasn't happy when they gave her what she asked for. She pushed a lot of people a way and came off as and entitled brat because she tore her group down(yes they weren't singing but it made her seem not so loyal considering she needed them to get her out of obscurity then wanted to trash them the second she was out) and at least for me and the people I knew it left a sour taste in my mouth and I didn't want to be supportive of someone who blatantly tore down the very people who got her the fame she wanted (I also didn't like any of her songs). Apparently she had an eating disorder as well that she wasn't even keeping hidden so I imagine a lot of people wanted to distance themselves from her before her spiral cost them.
