I have a friend who is vision impaired and I have worked with an association for Blind Folks. The information that I have been provided by Public Media on any of the former Colonial Power's media providers, seems to reflect a Bias that reflects the vast amounts of money dedicated to Endowments that fund production of information by the supposedly "Public Media". He's also a diehard neocon, who's responsible for the Ukraine debacle. All he and his senile boss had to do is to remove Ukraine's NATO membership off the table once and for all and stop arming and all other interference. Kiev. is Russia 's birthplace also and Ukraine got greatly aggrandized under Stalin (1945-47) and Ukrainian Khrushchev (1954). Ukrainian and Russian languages are virtually mutually understandable. The conflict between them is like a conflict between brothers, not unlike our Civil War. Blinken and Zelensky are but the progeny of the Bolsheviks.

When will we finally start learning to pay attention to the psychological make up of the politicians??? Once you know what to look for, the malignant antisocial personalities aren't that difficult to detect, and yet we continue to afford such people the benefit of a doubt, which people in such condition do not deserve even for a moment. Once you figure out that a leader has an APD, all bets are off, period. From there on you must consult a team of professional psychiatrists in order to know how to deal with such leader. This is not a joke, and we keep repeating the same mistakes, over and over, and expecting different results. That's the definition of insanity.

@@ssuwandi3240 The implication of Russia peacefully selling Gas to Europe, appears to leave the US out in the Cold. Nordstream 2 would make Russia capable of selling Europe 70% of the demand for Gas at reasonable prices. The US has available Gas reserves that would provide well over $200 billion in LNG sales annually. When you view the efforts of the US State Department as designed for any other purpose than promoting profits for a small number of Humans, you begin to notice a trend since Eisenhower pointed out the Military Industrial Complex. LBJ was informed that He had pissed away the contents of the US Treasury on Vietnam as a Colony, so His War on Poverty was unable to be funded. So LBJ did not seek another term. Carter claimed recently the USA is operated by an Oligarchy. The proof is staring Americans in the Face, the Propaganda appears to cover the facts. Yellow Cake anyone? Or are you still attempting to understand the Domino Theory?

@@danielhutchinson6604 well too bad you're still missing out the other puzzle. China also recently switched to cheaper LNG with Russia. You should know why none of West medias relayed this crucial world RE-Order use case. I guess at least Trump was trying to retreat the large part of overseas investments back to the homebase under his fiscal policies. China was never the enemy, just like Russia. Their getting rid off their own Deepstater on national TV was a positive signal.

@@Shm00ly Establishment obviously means different things in different contexts. Here they are talking directly to secretary of state so it's fairly obvious. The establisment in general you could understand as institutional interests that don't go away. So you might be talking about the penatgon, or the CIA or the Military industrial complex..or you might be talking about families long in power (Nuland, Chaeney, Bush)...or you might be talking about a figure like Biden who (capatain credit card and the democratic architecht of the Iraq war) ....Unfortunately most msm (almost all really) not only in America but in the west has become essentially a megaphone for those entities because they are in bed with larger corporate entities and together they set the line for the media. Maybe you expect more from PBS But if that's the case why wouldn't you expect more from RT. (who by the way have had some of the best journalists in the world working for them)

So interesting to be listening to this excellent interview again in October 2022. Antony Blinken refers to 'consequences for Russia' on several occasions. How ironic that the greatest consequence was Putin's own overreach in starting a war to invade all of Ukraine. We didn't have to bring him down. He brought himself down, in the most epic, barbaric self emoliation beyond anything we could have imagined a year ago, never mind in 2017.

Trump's electoral victory was about Hillary's team's hubris and voter fatigue regarding the Clintons. Biden's electoral victory was a reaction to the chaos that Trump created. Neither Trump or Biden are good for the USA. We, the people, need to vote out all of these old dinosaurs in Congress and get constitutional amendments passed to enact term limits. The Boomer generation needs to retire and give the next generation a chance.

Mr. Blinken seems to me one of the honest and toughest Politician for foreign affairs, what makes him so trustworthy (and I was not typically convinced by US politicians "freedom and democracy aims") is that he is deeply worried about the loss of trust in "Western values" and he does not deny the indescribable damage Putin and Trump had caused to European and US Democracies (the first one out of clever tactics and the second simply by its stupid Ego, when it comes to "punishment", in my opinions Trump is a guilty for conspiracy out of selfoverestimated Idiot, during his presidency every day the white house was like "the Simpson" to me, I could not belief, up today, that this guy would even be able to run a Fastfood restaurant. Now, with a united US and EU we can even tell China today: "you help Russia, we are going to shut you off too." This is only possible with a strong alliance that has 50% of world GDP as compared to China's 15%. It's hard to mess around when you're dealing with numbers.
