For anyone watching, it's always worth doing Force Multiplier 1 and 2 instead of 3. You get a 20% boost instead of 18% for the same number of perk slots. The same goes for using Quick Charge, Extended Duration, and Extended Reach.

I play Doc with a suppression build, I ran a mission with someone using this build. We rarely got touched, anywhere we could utilize a choke point made us untouchable, just open areas where they could flank was their an issue.

alright, I made a slight mistake during the making of the video. I apologise. After testing again, Compatability Matrix does increase with Duration Mods. However, I still recommend going for more Recharge Speed as getting your Coils back faster is still better than having them stick around for longer, IMO. I mean, if you use all your Coils when a Big Red Elite spawns (so you can max out the Compat Matrix buffs), it can take up to 15 seconds longer to get all 3 of them back if you go Duration instead of Recharge.

Still using the same Lancer build. Although, I swapped my CQW for the Barrage Flechette. Barrage Flechette with Onslaught + Overclock just melt everything. 😋

Fire rate and max ammo. You'll only be using it for Onslaught, so Reload Speed or Ammo Capacity are bad. 😋

Did you test the perk that gives 25% armor damage? That use to never work for the flame turret. Only worked on the normal or heavy turret.

Might be placebo, but I feel like the numbers go up faster when the target still has armor 🤷‍♂️ +10% fire rate isn't bad either

I tested it the extra damage vs armored target does indeed work. You can test it against the early warrior in campaign 4 if you need confirmation. Psyqhical is correct. Cheers!

That would be Quick Charge III. I got Quick Charge II from Horde mode Intense 10 waves, but ppl have said they've gotten it through other means too. Try using a challenge card that gives you a bonus item.

It's been quite a while since the release of that vid but wouldn't it be even more min-maxing to take force multiply 2+1 instead of 3 for 20% dmg increase opposed to the 18% ? It sure doesn't sound like much, agreed, but 2% more dmg for the same amount of slots is always nice

Depends on the mission, really. Generally it's Gunner/Tech/Recon, but for certain missions you'll have more luck with a Phalanx, Demo or Doc with you instead of a Gunner or Tech. Like for 2-2 and 2-3, you'll want a Phalanx with you to aggro all the bullets from the Synths. In 3-3, you'll want a Demo with you with a Volcan and Napalm Rockets so he can make short work of the little spicy nuggets. In 4-1, a Doc makes a lot of the mission easier as well. He can heal you during the mission (healthkits are few and far between in that mission) and use his Stims so you can move through the level faster (4-1 has a lot of punishment spawns of you stick in one area too long). A Recon is pretty much mandatory throughout Insane, you really want to have a steady income of ammo. Ammo Hoarder can be used if no Recon is available, but you might still fall fool to ammo bancrupty. 😕

I haven't gotten around to playing this game yet, but just from watching videos, it looks like the enemies are straight up bullet sponges. I mean, I wasn't expecting everything to go down in a bullet or two, but it just seems like everything eats bullets for breakfast with maybe the exception of the runners. Just straight up ignoring getting shot at.

I’m pretty sure that buddy is playing in the higher difficulties (intense/extreme/insane) where the enemies get scaled up health pools and champion/elite type enemies are spawned at a much higher frequency.

I have a single nitpick about this build. You mention at 3:07 that the coils duration can't be increased. This is completely untrue and easy to prove. If you go to the hangar and slot in just a recharge your coil falls off with about 2 seconds remaining. If you put long haul on the coil + Batteries included it will last 1 second beyond the cooldown. If you place an extended duration 3 + Long Haul it will also extend past it's duration cooldown of 20 seconds. Your information was true due to a bug from awhile back but it's not true anymore as of season 3. Both duration and cooldown reduction effect coils.

@@Psyqhical Yeah, no problem. Could be wrong but regardless I have tested and coils definitely do work with duration as of now. Cheers! Good build btw. Not knocking it at all. Just wanted to point out duration DOES work with coils. :P Though, really to get coils out at max length you only need a 3 slot and 2 slot as you're running whereas most used two three slots. This definitely free's up space and allows for more powerful builds (IMO) and your build is very similar to my own

@@Psyqhical Oh! Yeah, this is true. I thought you meant in the video that extended duration doesn't effect coils! I misunderstood. My bad! Yeah, I like having very long lasting coils so I run long haul and extended duration 2 but there is the downside in that if you "miss" trying to stick an enemy it means a longer wait before you can attempt again.

@@Psyqhical Wait! Actually, that does or it should. So, if you have compatibility matrix on you see the buff on the corner by your health bar. Increasing the duration of the coils increases the length that buff remains active as well or at least the icon. Does it actually drop despite the icon still being there?

My tech is gold VIII. I don’t have two of the mention perks: Quick Charge II. Also, I have removed all perks and I have quite a few that say “Not compatible with current perks” even when I don’t have any perks. Continues to say this, even when I added perks.

Yes, I can. However, it would be counter productive to my YT channel. A part of YT's algorythm is how long a viewer watches the video. The longer you watch, the higher my video scores in the algorythm rankings and the more likely it's recommended when people search for it. So putting the build in my description will have people simply pause the video after a few seconds, copy the build from the description box and then close the video which would mean that my video scores low on YT's algorythm (since only a few seconds were watched) and my vids will become less and less recommended. I hope you understand. 😕

No one is playing intense or hard level…😢. 99% are just lazy players and and they just quit and log out when they can’t handle the situation just losers with no coordination between players, it’s sad because it’s a great game.

This isn’t a good build for me I build straight for turret an it melts all by itself using a shotgun with explosive rounds is just for extra damage for bosses but my build basically 1 shots everything
