Should we Hanafis recite according to Ibn Aamir since they were the reciters of Kufa?

As with many of Ibn ʿAbd al-Barr’s consensus claims, they are often inaccurate and disputed. There was definitely scholarly disagreement about this issue, but you have to do the research.

@@abdelbaasit1 that’s a lie the only dispute is about the ones with sahih chains but didn’t meet tawatur and other conditions such as arabic language and uthmanic rasm not the ones with weak/fabricated chains

Why is a forged qira'ah been presented/recited by an Islamic scholarly institute? Scholars have forbidden such recitation inside and outside Salah

Forbidden in prayers only, right? *Edit:* Where does it say forbidden any Shadh (non-Mutawatir) recitation outside Salah? Inside, yes, as they're not proven as Quran. But outside, you can just read it like reading newspaper. It's permissible, not forbidden. Scholars say, if they're not Quran, they are close to Hadith, just like Hadith Qudsi; some are Sahih, some are Hasan, some are Dhaif, and some are Mawdhu’ as well.

Its to make you aware of what it is. They also clearly say to to not recite in this.

You quietly edited your comment? Lol. Read my edited reply.

The claim that it’s 💯 “forged” is itself contentious. That’s why 🙂

@@abdelbaasit1 because the Sanad is Dhaif, some say Mawdhu'. When it comes to Hadith, we can use Dhaif Hadith to support Sahih/Hasan Hadith. But when it comes to the Quran, or Theology, or Rulings, we must use Sahih/Hasan Hadith only. And Quranic recitation must be Mutawatir to be recited in prayers (like the 10 Qiraats). If the Qiraat is Shadh (not Mutawatir), you cannot recite it in prayers. You can use it for Tafseer or Rulings (just as back up, not as main evidence).
