I must say that towards the end, that was the closest that I'd had ever seen the queens feet. Or close to it!

These visits as shown in this video to Singapore and Malaysia must have been in 1989. The visit to Singapore was so lovely and I guess the Singaporeans were very warm to her late majesty Queen Elizabeth II. From this video, I can confidently say that the visit to Malaysia was filled with DISRESPECT for the British monarch. I will explain. 1. It is a well known fact that women do not enter the prayer hall of a mosque. Why take the monarch to the mosque in the first place? Then turn her by the entrance, If the aim is not to humiliate her? 2. After the state banquet, gifts were exchanged. The Sultan of Malaysia again humiliated the monarch, by asking his wife to hand over gifts to the monarch, while he (the Sultan) handed the gifts to prince Philip. This is against protocol. It seems the Malaysians did these things DELIBRATELY. May God almighty bless the soul of her late majesty Queen Elizabeth II and may God bless his majesty King Charles III. Hello. As a Malaysian, I just wanted to clarify your two points of us being allegedly disrespectful to Her Majesty the Queen. 1. Like men, women are allowed to go to the mosque. However, there is a separate section inside the mosque (usually on the second floor) for women to pray (this section is forbidden to men). This is to ensure the safety of women and also to avoid men and women mixing together in a sacred place. The Queen went to the mosque just for the sake of sightseeing and marvelling at the beauty of Islamic architecture. I don't think that is disrespectful. To this day, Malaysia will always include mosque touring in the itinerary if a leader of a certain country or their head of state comes to Malaysia because we wanted to showcase the beauty of our architecture and also introduce our official religion. In my opinion, there is no harm in doing so. It's just the same as going to a museum. 2. I think you are confused. at 16:06 You can clearly see that the King of Malaysia (Sultan Azlan Muhibbuddin Shah) gifted Prince Phillip a gold walking stick and in return, the Queen gifted a carriage clock to the Queen of Malaysia (Raja Permaisuri Tuanku Bainun). The King of Malaysia never asked his consort to give any gifts to Her Majesty the Queen. You are just confused. Plus, at 16:07 you can clearly hear the narrator saying "of the many..." which indicates that there were more than the two gifts exchanged in the ceremony. They did not included all gifts, they only selected those two to be shown in the video. I hope that my writing helps in clarifying your two points of us Malaysians being allegedly disrespectful to Her Majesty the Queen. Thank you and may God bless us all.
