As with most things in TV this is an oversimplification. You confess your sin and seek his help in doing better and work towards forgiveness. So you keep trying everyday to find it

Friend, do you know why she couldn't forgive her uncle? She had just found out her uncle had encouraged the nazis to keep bombing her people so they'd surrender...made post-war plans with the nazis to overthrow her father and reinstall himself as king...and warned the nazis when their war plans were discovered so they could change them. I think all of us would struggle to forgive in that situation.

But can I also just say...the fact that the Queen did NOT have her uncle arrested for high treason after all that he did...already showed A LOT of forgiveness on her part and mercy too...MUCH more than he deserved.

@@SN-sz7kw And for conspiring with the Nazis to betray his own family and former subjects in order to become the King of England and Emperor of India again under Adolf Hitler. He told many of the high ranking Nazis the people of Britain would fold under the blitz and surrender to the German Army and he tried to help that surrender along. That's why he got shipped off to the Bahamas as Governor far away from Germany and under the eye of US intelligence as well as British Intelligence.
