Tianqi deserved more, he always took care of her, he was willing to sacrifice himself on the day of Chaos.... Which made people think he was evil....he also died during this. He took care of Yuanqi while shanggu/houchi was sleeping.. or let's just say when shanggu was awakening.... After watching this 3 times I should say Yuemi's Hongri's also gojun's Death was Really sad.... Even if tianqi couldn't get shanggu he should have atleast got Yuemi.... Hoping to see a season 2 with Yuanqi's life story, And come back for some amazing characters...

That doesn't mean she was a bad person, but rather that she had determined that being nice and obedient was the best way to get what she wanted-- which was honestly just an opportunity to do well for herself. If Shanggu had also been straight with her about Feng Yan and let her know that she genuinely wanted Wu Huan to be her mount, Wu Huan might not have turned out evil because she would have known she wasn't just a temporary replacement.

Wu Huan already had an inferiority complex, but if she knew she had been recognized for herself and not just tolerated as a temporary replacement, that might have led her to be more content with her position. She didn't dislike Shanggu from the beginning-- She resented her situation in the Phoenix clan, then she resented her situation as a fill-in (she thought), and that led to her resenting Shanggu. Was she jealous? Sure, but it wasn't merely jealousy that drove her to become evil. Maybe it would have, in an alternate storyline, but that's not what happened here.

ASHES of Love looks too mediocre compared to Ancient Love Poetry 🤦‍♂️ yet the main female lead of the latter had still been heavily bashed in China just because they thought she didn't portray nor have the aura of being Shanggu, the Chief God 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️ On the other hand, Wu Huan gave justice 🤦‍♂️ For me everything in this drama is perfectly executed. It even surpassed my admiration on Ice Fantasy ❤️ What a shame 🤦‍♂️😓
