When her father became king his advisors said it wasn't too late for him to have a son, and he said, "I most certainly will not! She [Elizabeth] is amazing!"

I read once some advice either her father was given or that her father gave to her as she was doing more public engagements…You will meet millions of people throughout your life & they will ALL remember you even though it’s impossible for you to remember all of them , so make a good impression . As for the religious beliefs of afterlife, there are still communities of pagans who believe in Valhalla and such. Its just not widely popular, hence the medieval age. I will say, whilst most people now don't move with religion or any belief of any sort in their heart, it surely had its benefits. There is a reason the russian military has a dramatically reduce rate of mental illness following combat engagements for example.

This is why we love our beloved late Queen. She looked genuinely upset at not remembering him but the average person of her age when filming probably couldn't remember people they met last week not years ago. RIP
