I believe the excursion speed limit was around 40 mph or something. Of course, the J class can go faster, as in pulling 15 cars on level track at 110 mph...

one thing I wonder what will ever happen with C and & O 614? what a sight if the two could ever double head or run to gether? would the friendly CSX go along with a few trips there are some strong feelings about this matter but what a sight if we could just see it once but at$700,000 just to get her going you would need more then say a dozen tripsI am sort of neutral; to the matter some fans made a big deal of just tueing her around dead
