lol Green Serpent is metaphorically referred to alcohol in russian. Bitten by green serpent in slavic tradition is symbolic of alcoholism and the depths of intoxication/addiction.....as for the song, the opeth outro is cool. Middle LOG breakdown is cool. I agree, that was a "sick riff" near the beginning. It never ceases to amaze me how many fantastic riffs Jinjer will run through once or twice in a song never to return to it again. Most bands would kill for a great riff like that, and would build a whole song around it.

I think the band would admit to "djent". Although how you would distinguish Prog Metalcore from Djent is anyone's guess. I suppose you could say that Djent is Metalcore without the usual Metalcore tropes?
