The Queen's Platinum Jubilee | A Service of Thanksgiving | BBC | 3rd June 2022

Jubilee celebrations continue, marking HM the Queen’s 70-year reign with a national service of thanksgiving from St Paul’s Cathedral, acknowledging her dedicated service as monarch in the presence of senior members of the royal family.
David Dimbleby will provide expert commentary from inside St Paul’s, leading us through the service. Sophie Raworth meets many of the key people taking part.
From the BBC’s platinum jubilee studio at St James’s Park, Kirsty Young will be joined by special guests who share their experiences of spending time with the Queen and reflect on how important her faith has been through the years.

I already knew that Queen Elizabeth II was not very well at all then and was absolutely dreading it. Little did I realise that I would become Queen just 3 months after the platinum jubilee celebrations as I did a lot of preparations beforehand. I’m glad I have this role now that I didn’t expect to have until Woody.EXE came around in August 2022 to help my family with royal preparations exactly 4 weeks before the Queen died. A very challenging week it was for us all

Almost 2 years on and I’m very proud of Woody.EXE for reaching this milestone because when I was very ill with a rare SPA Infection being sick for 80 hours straight in February 2023; fans of Woody.EXE saw signs of him abducting the throne because the emotions during a service were felt by everyone while I was absent in hospital. I returned home in March 2023 just in time for the commenwelth service in the Abbey which I was well enough to attend. There’s no royals like us 2 who have lead Wales for so long

Just now FINALLY found a channel that actually had the entire service other than people arriving in the cars and buses and then that's the end. I noticed that Harry and his wife weren't the only ones getting the stink eye from the crowd. Seems there were some scorns from lots of people as PC, Camilla, PW and Catherine were walking down the aisle, although it wasn't as much as the Sussucks couple. THANK YOU FOR POSTING THE ENTIRE CEREMONY!!! I've been wanting to see it since last month!!

That was such a beautiful service ❤❤. Beautiful music and a great speech (with sense of humour) by the Archbishop of York. And my favourite Poirot ever David Suchet. I love that episode the Theft of the Royal Ruby, where he's invited to stay with the family for Christmas and in one episode there he teaches them how to cut mango to everyone's marvel and joy. ❤ #PlatinumJubilee #HM70 #QueenElizabeth

Does this Moderator look back on this and cringe with embarrassment. Can she see that Harry and Megan just held back so that they could walk down the center and look like they are still people of importance and that she kept going on, and on about how they were given Special treatment it was ridiculous. We all knew at the time it was ridiculous. Yet this old woman was clueless. She should find another job if she doesn't know. I thought so at the time watching live on BBC, but rewatching over a year later and it's confirmed to be the WORST COMMENTARY EVER! Not only mistakes by Roya Nikka identifying people but Dimbleby talking over the music, treating the audience like imbeciles and neither of them with a clue about H&M. 🙄 Now Huw Edwards career has hit the buffers it will be interesting to see who the BBC puts up next time.
