The Queens Arcade's smaller Schindler S Series, and some flashbacks

Filmed in 2023 (older clips filmed 2014, 2019 and 2015 respectively). I wanted to end my day in Cardiff with some Schindler goodness, but sadly the lower floor was being rebuilt when I visited, meaning that the 2 big S Series tractions have been temporarily (I hope) decommissioned. With the lower floor being out of action, the smaller S Series hydraulic lift was only serving the upper floor and half-floor mezzanine, and at the time of recording it was also the only lift in operation. The inside indicator wasn't working, nor was the voice. The video also shows a few flashbacks, I won't say on here what they are, but I wanted to make a longer video out of this. Despite the Queens Arcade also being a fairly small centre, like the Capital centre, it was busier there as it also has a link from there to the St David's centre.

Such a shame the bigger lifts were closed off, hopefully when the refurb is done they'll reopen unchanged. That said the smaller lift ain't half bad either.

Yeah, I really am crossing my fingers that they'll remain intact, as far as I know I think these are my most local unmodernised S Series XD Yeah, the small lift is nice too :)
