Hate to seem pretentious, but EcoDisc is the motor Kone use, and MonoSpace is the model. This is a common mistake, often used by Beno viewers. Another thing to note is that there are no generations of MonoSpace, just changes in fixtures. Once again Mr Gittings is at fault. And lift engineers call pre-doors ADO; Beno, AGAIN. As I said, these are common mistakes.

Yes; ADO does stand for advanced door opening- I think Kone uses this term internally, same as terms like ACU. Just saying this because lifts are complex and it’s ok to use simplified terms most of the time- e.g. generations of Kone MonoSpace instead of fixtures (4th gen MS instead of MS with KSS280)

I'd defo stick with wide angle - imo it's a much better representation of what the viewer's eyes would see if they were there in person, and usually I find that's the best type of camera angle. I took it up a few years ago and have never gone back lol. But the normal angle works fine too.

I think wide angle is best in small lifts. Had to use it on a 8 person Stannah I filmed today for example. Is also good if you want to get an angle of the door and the indicator in the same shot! :))

I really like it, and I quite like the Lester mod on it too IMO. I appreciate that they've kept the original Express lift plaque. Thanks for the comment re the wide angle, I'll play around with it in other lifts :)

Sad to see it’s original logic gone. I think the wide angle lens looks better with more compact lifts because it helps to show everything a bit easier, but it isn’t always needed for bigger lifts. But both are good though

its not called the "logic", its a controller. they are the same, but controller is the actual name for it. logic is just used by beno.

As of 2024 these lifts are still here. Well, the one on the left is still working completely fine and is still awesome, the one on the right has either been switched off or abandoned. There's also a side lift identical to these which is still original as well.

There are two types of hand dryers evaporative like the one you’re using, or about to use and jet. For example, the Dyson air-blade -evaporative dryers, tend to use warm air 7:13 7:13

The Warner Howard is a rebadged CERA 136484, the Sector a rebadged Anda Series 5000, Newlec a rebadged AIKE AK2803B with Anda as the middle man, Dryflow is another AIKE AK2803, F Series is actually a Velair F Series, but in reality its a rebadged KINGWE. Air Fury is a rebadged HOKWANG, ATC Cub is a rebadged AIKE AK2805 and Tiger a rebadged AIKE AK2901. That Newlec is good because Newlec don't make dryers, they rebadge them, and all of their dryers are Andas. However, recently, Anda have discontinued most of their range and now just sell AIKEs, which are all high-speed, hence why this Newlec is faster.

The Old Keighley Company was sold to Schindler. The New Keighley Brand is part of Swansea Lifts which is a Doppler Distributer.

Yeah, these Gen2's do typically go at 1m/s which is a great speed for 2 floors. I agree, that door design is really nice :)
