Incredible story with an amazing result! In botw, LegendofLinkk found something similar where you can escape Plateau by interrupting a Korok cutscene. With some momentum, you'll continue sliding on the ground indefinitely, but much like with text diving, you have no direct control over Link. Even if you could go straight to Sanctum, the void takes priority. The fact that it doesn't in this game, and so many other factors lined up to make reaching the trigger possible at all, makes for one incredible accomplishment!
@ferruscube11 ай бұрын
It's insane that when we started thinking about low%, of all the things that could be skipped, map completion seemed fairly trivial. Just beating the game avoiding some GSI locations and clipping through the surface to get to the depths without entering a chasm. Avoiding the shrines or ToT wasn’t even conceivable. I was satisfied with that and went looking into lowering the other stuff that we consider game progression. Nonetheless at the same time the Text Diving research started taking force, the concept was cool but it still seemed such a monumental task. It's hard to believe that this has actually been achived and that a 0% map completition is possible, awesome job done from everyone in the community. Really exiting times are ahead of us!

you can technically skip the Great Plateau, all you have to do is make around 10 stamina regen meals/elixirs, get a metal plate to the east edge of the Great Plateau, use stasis and hit it a bunch of times into the direction of lake Hylia, then get on top of it before stasis ends and swim as much to the east as possible. Of course, you'd have effectively locked half the game including the ganon fight, you'd have to be extremely careful with your movement to not get teleported back and you still need to do a bunch of save file transfer shenanigans to even be able to get to Ganon which makes it useless for speedruns

if you could trigger the "For Our Princess!" quest, that counts as a minigame and once you close it maybe you could roam the main Hyrule. You can gas warp to the minigame from the army fight, but it requires setup when you're at the minigame, then go to army and void out, and keep the colored sages. Edit: There are specific story flags that tell you how far in the game you are, A state without GSI voidout is "LookingForZelda", and the army is past that, referenced as either "GoToDeepHole" and/or "DefeatMonsterArmy", I'm not sure. When you go to army early, it tricks the game into thinking you are done with GSI, removing the voidout. Minigames wouldn't work to escape GSI as I don't think it would overwrite these flags, leading to voidouts

I love your videos-showing how to break Tears of the Kingdom to its maximum-and it's awesome to know a lot of them are tied to an even _bigger_ sequence break- which you've crazily enough managed to pull off. I applaud your dedication!

I can't believe how much time and effort you put into this. It's just like so respectable how you wanted to achieve this goal so much that you found new tech AND spent 45 minutes falling at a snails pace for every single run. Hats off to you, great work, and congrats on figuring it out!

I understood about 5% of the words you used in the video However how you presented your challenge to achieve the goal using, I can only presume magic, was very entertaining Great video. Genuinely was glued to my screen

9:55 dude the way the flute from the stable theme meshed with the background music right here. Such a good lick in this context

Thank you for explaining this in a very accessible way! I find it hard to keep up with these sorts of videos because the terminology is so specific.
