If I try to make it with a thinner yarn, is it enough to make a 65cm chain then put the first increase in the middle? I'd like to use some nice yarn I have, but it's for 4/4,5 mm hook. Maybe I can use 5 mm to make it looser, I can manage it being the stitch so easy. Thanks for sharing all these nice projects ❤

Thanks for the great pattern. I'm making it in a chunky yarn though not as chunky as yours. Even in yours, for that matter but mine shows more cos my colours are not as forgiving. Any remedies welcome.

Ophelia, How would I go about making this poncho, and have the sides (arms) be longer, without making the front and back points any longer than they are? Would adding some increases on the shoulders achieve that? Or just put extra stitches (6 instead of 4) into the front and back points?

I tell you how many I used for mine in the conclusion section of this tutorial, but it will depend on how big you want it too. Anja x

It’s beautiful but I never use chunky yarn. I don’t even think I own any ☺️🧶

Each round adds 8 DCs. But in round 3 I went from 58 in round 2 to 68 in round 3. Very confused.

@@OpheliaTalks I figured out what I did wrong! Something went wrong when I first joined to make the circle and I ended up adding a few extra DC’s by accident, haha. Restarted my poncho and it is now looking amazing!!! Thank you so much for this awesome video!!!

Please don’t shake the yarn when you are showing us the label. I had to back up the video to see the details.

Sorry! I like to show the label, sometimes it's bigger than one can show at a time so l need to move the ball around. I will endeavour to keep it still in future Paula, Anja x
