Hey Everyone! ) I’m Anna and welcome to my channel. Here, I post some useful information for English learners. I’m from Ukraine and I’ve worked on my English and accent, for the most part, on my own, but you can find out and trace my story by watching my videos. I’ve been studying American pronunciation for a long time, and I still do, and I guess I always will - because it’s not math. Learning a language, it’s a lifetime journey. I know exactly what it takes to become fluent and acquire an accent in a non-English speaking country, and I’ve never even been to one. And I’m sharing this information here - on my channel.

The English in my head is really good, like native speaker good. But i often worry about my speaking, I worry about making mistakes. I don't really get to speak English a lot because I'm not currently in an English speaking country. Any advice?

I didn't notice what the purpose of shadowing is! I had believed I should concentrate on just listening at first so that I can hear what native speakers say before I watched this video. But now, I learned that shadowing can make us be getting used to speaking, and I thought I might never speak ever if I concentrate on just listening until I get good at it. From now on, I try to work on shadowing too!

As usual the best speech. Speaking like you is my aim, so clear, understandable, a highly articulate speaker. I am shadowing you. That is the fastest way from my viewpoint but I also gathered from your previous videos that reading is an essential part to acquire vocab and that is what takes time. I read as much as I can and whenever my job allows me to make some time fot it and I´ve come up with my own list of new words and phrases because it is important to imitate a quality which highlights in your speaking and that is not repeating a content and filler words if you can prevent from doing it. If you don´t mind I would like to hear a sumary of the history of Ucrania since last century up to the present from your vantage point. it will be difficult to summarize it either in ten minutes or in two videos yet you can give us a good understanding of what it must be like to be a ucranian. next time you might give us information about culture, geography and cities or your neighbourhood. Best wishes for you and all your family my dearest teacher... Plssss say hi to me.....

Anna, you're totally right about the time thing.... fluency takes TIME, people need to understand it once for all. There's no formula or secret, you need to study, practice, review, make mistakes, and eventually will learn and become fluent... this is a process and it'll never happen overnight. Can you make a video about the social learning method? this is interesting :)
