This was a gripping doc. I cannot imagine the suffering of these people and then they are told that there is no such thing as chronic Lyme disease. The Federal Government has dropped the ball and has made it almost impossible to get a proper diagnosis. On top of that the insurance companies refuse to pay for the intravenous medication past a certain time period when in fact this can end up being terminal for the patient. This film is an eye-opener to the tenth degree. EVERYONE needs to watch this film and take extra precautions when going out in the woods. My heart goes out to the Italian girl Julia Bruzzese. Her father and this brave young lady have refused to give up and have become the voice for all of those quietly suffering while being told there is no such thing as chronic Lyme Disease! SHAME ON THE CDC AND THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT!

Sadly people will see this film and they will think that it's a rarity instead of the epidemic that it is and they will watch people die right in front of them without recognizing that Lyme disease is real. I know because I have it and that's exactly what's happening to me. Even people who have watched me and seen what this is done to me act like it's nothing and fight to believe a lie over helping a life.

THOSE SQUIGELLY BACTERIAL BORE INTO THE JOINTS. The ANTIBIOTICS ONLY KILL A PORTION AND THEN IT GROWS BACK. MY HEART GOES OUT TO YOU. Stay strong the best you can because there are new studies and they are working but the funding is lacking still. I do believe they will come up with a vax but to come up with a medicine that kills the existing bacteria may never happen in "our lifetimes". This is while tics continue to evolve and multiply.

Its been 18 years now for me and still can't find help. Even the things that feel like they might be hopeful possibilities for help cost so much money that there's no way somebody that's been unable to work for as long as I have would be able to buy the treatment. Hopeless is the best word to describe Lyme disease. Hell is another good one.

I consider myself to be VERY LUCKY to be in the 80% group, started the antibiotics early, within a few days of getting a rash, which in my case was like a big bruise without bullseye. Been eight years now and don't seem to be suffering any long term effects.

They have to pay for making the film, and have to make money themselves. If they can't get paid for their work, they can't do what they do. It will probably be available on Netflix, Prime, or Hulu anyway. Eventually.

Allegedly it spread escaped from. Fed animal test facility on Plumb Island, from the deer who swim at low tides to both south shore of Connecticut and north shore of suffolk county NY. Yes our deer are avid swimmers during low tides, even swimming to fire island shores to nibble in exotic foliage planted around summer homes.

I've always thought the same. But RFK jr recently interviewed a woman who claims to have interviewed Willie Burgdorfer. Dr. Alan B. MacDonald did confirm that Burgdorfer did work for the DOD. They recruited him and he worked out of Fort Detrick. Alan was one of the first pathologists to begin research back in the 1980's and knew Burgdorfer, Alan said that Burgdorfer never really spoke about it back then. It's now said that they were frozen and dropped from the air. Hopefully we'll know more soon.

I get frustrated when I hear these conspiracy theories because this is part of what holds back progress for Lyme disease and keeps people skeptical and able to dismiss us as crazy. The Lyme bacteria has been around for millions of years and has been found in fossils of prehistoric humans and 15-20 million years old fossilized ticks. What changed in the last few decades to cause the rise of Lyme disease isn't some conspiracy to use it as a bioweapon but more just the increase in toxic environmental exposure to pesticides and thousands of untested chemicals, and also the increase in mold exposure from poorly built moldy buildings, all of which are able to suppress the immune system and make people more susceptible to opportunistic chronic infections like Lyme disease. There's no conspiracy needed and all you have to do is look at all of those types of changes that have happened in the world at the same time as the increase in Lyme disease to see why it's happened. With those changes in mind we should have always expected an epidemic of these types of chronic illnesses and it shouldn't be a surprise at all.

Now I am very concerned with this. I like my neighbor, but when I have her inside my home she allows her dog to jump in my sofa, I feel uckward to say no to her. The dog walks everywhere outside, in the street, in the grass and then might contaminates my sofa with his dirty paws and fur. Now I have to avoid the neighbor getting inside my place because of the dog, and I start going to her home, but then I sit in her sofa, and the dog wants to play and drags all over the sofa, even if I don't sit in her sofa, and stay standing, the dog wants to play and jump on me for attention, and I feel uckward to avoid his plays. So I am stuck no way out. Unless I stop completely the visitations in my home and/or in her home and meet her in the sidewalks. I always cover my sofa with a sheet regardless this situation which I don't think prevents any contamination. I can't use hot water of my portable wash machine because it's missing the special hose installation for hot water. I am stuck. Soap should kill these nasty devils.

We did declare war on Mother Nature some decades ago. We now see her fighting back. The weaker she becomes the more she fights. We see the pattern yet we continue on the same path. I heard it best from the Terminator....lol "It's in your nature to destroy yourselves."
