French Toast Sunday, what a great family day. I remember when the quints were little,they were/ are attracted to water and rocks. As they get older they have their own ideas about what is fun. In Nederland heet dit: Wentelteefjes. Oud brood in een beslagje van melk en ei met kaneel (en dan in de koekenpan bakken). Zo hoefde vroeger geen oud brood weggegooid worden. Kinderen zijn er altijd dol op. Grappig dat het een internationaal recept is met elk land een eigen naam voor het recept. In de USA doet men er warme ahorn stroop over? In Nederland vaak poedersuiker. Leuke video.

In Canada we really add lots to our French toast, butter, maple syrup, what we’re famous for, lots of different fruits too….blueberries, bananas, strawberries, powdered sugar, Nutella, whipped cream…any and all of the above!!
