Episode 1 is the Enarxis, the introductory rites of the Holy Qurbana.

I am a mom of three, a catechism teacher & a trainer for Altar servers, live in New Zealand. I was searching to find the right video explaining Mass in Syro Malabar tradition to show my kids, something they can watch without listening to too much talk or in simple terms & something they can relate to. When they watched this video, 2 of my teenage kids said they loved this because of all that I wrote above. My heartfelt thanks to those involved in making this video. Most eastern Catholic Churches have orthodox counterparts, but for Syro Malabar we don’t have orthodox counterpart instead our liturgy is influenced by Ancient church of the East .

If the qurbanA is the imitation of the last supper and the priest is representing Jesus and we represent the disciples, hmmm 🤔. Then again Isho says to do this in memory of him and not in imitation of him. Dunno man. I wish those in disagreement with the Synod had come up with better arguments instead of going ballistic. 😢
