I am watching this after Havdallah Saturday night, the fourth night of Chanukah. I live in Toms River, New Jersey, about 35 minutes from Lakewood. I love your podcast. I listen to a lot of Jewish content. I am 62 years old, belongbto a Conservative Shul, am married and have a 38 year old daughter who has not yet found her beshert. I study weekly with a wonderful woman that I found through Partners in Torah. Wishing everyone a Happy Chanukah!

Can you prove that G-D exists? The straightforward answer is - NO! The reason is simple: The Creator wants you to have FREEDOM OF CHOICE! He wants you to recognize him through the veil of - NATURE! That's your mission in life. 😁

I am very impressed with this special ruv.however i dont necessarily agree with him that the most important thing in regard to the woman with cancer was her husband fighting for am yisroel.i feel her 5 children should of been the first priority.then am yisroel.i as a mother and grandmother differ with this special ruv.
@Anne-mn3rh5 сағат бұрын
Listen again @16:30 - he said although Am Yisrael is first, we can find another soldier to replace your husband in battle, we can't find someone to replace him in the role of being your husband; and also that just as the battlefront is important, a strong home front is also important - in other words, she could ask him to stay home. Even hearing all that, she chose to encourage her husband to stay on the battlefront, but not because Rav Rimon prioritized it.

BEFORE you can love your fellow Jew and Man, you must first RESPECT them. What does this mean? Seriously acknowledge what they are SAYING to you! CONVERSATION is the mainstream tool of CIVILIZED MAN. Therefore, you should look for ways to respect and encourage what someone has to show you! And NOT TRIVIAL STUFF! After all, do we not end the Shemone Esrei with - " ... may YOU not cause other men to hate me, or me to hate them ..." !
