Cut out of a hill reminds me of Placerville especially because I’ve seen plenty of drivers use that hillside on the back stretch where the pit entrance is as surface to run on.

Back in the 80's there was a backyard practice track in Alvin, Tx. called Triple C. After carts and Modified midgets a few years they made it a little bigger each year. made the owners quite a bit of money through the years. miss that place.

A lot of us had the same idea...Hillside Raceway, Holmes Hillside, etc...however, in honor of the legendary Wendell Scott, and the fact that he won his only race at Jacksonville Speedway Park, here in Jacksonville FL, Holmes Jacksonville Speedway has a nice ring to it, but I still think Hillside is probably the most popular.

After buying some land here in northern Missouri out in the woods, I'm wanting to build a private dirt racetrack for friends wanting to test out their cars with $10 admission to spectate, and $20 to run the track for 5 laps. I'm going to call it Benedict Meadows Rally track. I'm going to have to dig alot of dirt, but it would be worth it for the enjoyment. It would be on the same land that I would own my small farmhouse on.

Tanner you basically described the track as Holmes Hillside Racetrack in your description of how it was made, I think thats an option. However, I think Holmes Hillside Raceway sounds pretty good. Anyway, that's my thoughts I enjoy what your doing. Keep up the great job, be safe and God bless!

There is a guy near corpus on his farm he has a legit 3/8 mile clay oval with walls grand stands lights on the catch fence for drivers the green red and yellow ones super bright led lights for night racing. He lets guys run their mods and latemodel and street stocks on it to test and hosts private street stock or latemodel races and any other class on winter sat nights I raced with them a few nights most clean and fun racing I have ever been apart of in a race at ever I started racing asphalt at 11 and I'm 29 and those races are the best I ever been in. And his track was cut out of a hill side and has same type of front stretch wall like yours it gets hairy if your dirt modified rr hits it your looping around and it's very weird feeling safer then a wall
