Derek Fox's first job was to get round on Ahoy Senor. For this horse it meant getting him switched off (not easy) and giving him time and space at his fences. Ahoy Senor historically finds nil at the end, his energy depleted by front-running and errors; neither of those drawbacks were in play yesterday leaving the horse, for probably the first time in his career, with a gallon of fuel left turning in. He was always within 5 or 6 lengths of the leader but was then caught flat footed when they quickened approaching the cross fence four out. Fox must be thinking the horse has had a flawless round so far and with 3 fences left he doesn't want to risk turning it into another bad experience. Safely over the second last he crouches and asks for full effort, but Ahoy Senor takes an age to respond. By the time he hits top speed they're coming to the last, the others are tiring, making things look even worse from a punters viewpoint as he seems to be flying home.

If a bookmaker lays a bet they should pay out regardless and there should be a law to state the same. The issue is a bet is not a legally binding and is only a promise to pay in the event of a certain outcome. Issue with that is promises can be broken.

As for the Irish, if they did not turn up, you would have had a walkover and a couple of 2 or 3 horse races. Add to the farce of the low sun AGAIN I'm not exactly jumping up and down with excitement when it comes to Saturdays ITV racing.

ITV is racing snobbery at its best. Commentators are awful, can't order a macdonalds without saying Keen. So-called expert tipsters no such thing do your own work or better still ask the wife for a tip you have more chance of winning. More importantly, your wifes tip won't be halfed in price knowing the blind mice will still bet on it. The amount the price of Kamala Harris is drifting i can only guess Watna racing as bought her.

The CEO of Aytu Bioscience, Josh Disbrow, writes in the Wall Street Journal that Trump was referring to his company’s upcoming tests that involved inserting a catheter with UV light LEDs into a patient’s throat. He never once said bleach. The media said this because it is fundamentally anti Trump.
