A devotee came up to me in the street in my university's city while I was eating a sandwich. My first impression was that he was looking for a donation but he simply chatted to me in a very warm manner. He showed me the gorgeously illustrated Srimad Bhagavatam and gave it to me. I swore to myself to read the book and subsequently read it a few months later. The book astounded me with its depth of knowledge and sincerity, and I immediately understood why I felt much respect for that devotee.

Have been able to visit The Radha Krishna Temple only once and liked it soooo much!!! I attended the Sunday Vegetarian Feast. I can't explain how deep the atmosphere in the Temple has touched my heart. I didn't know any rules, so I just sat down and was about to join the chanting but I couldn't. Just couldn't open my mouth. Tears were rolling over my face and I couldn't do anything just BE there. It wasn't neither sadness nor joy. I guess it was heart purifying tears... Hare Krsna

That is so beautiful. Id had a few years of great difficulty and I took my daughter there to thank Krishna for such a beautiful experience and responsibility. Id known the chanting and over the years had gone from conditioned embarrassment to comfortable happy chanting. I was kindly and gently encouraged to raise my arms and do what I call the chanting dance! When it finished I genuinely had the biggest smile id had in a very long time. It was beautiful. My gratitude to the devotees and volunteers who run and maintain the temple is huge. Hare Krishna.

I seriously suggest you to read The Science Of Self-Realization by his Divine Grace A.C Bhaktivedanta Swami Srila Prabhupada. You can get it's pdf form at Krishna.org. Please learn about something before you say something bluntly. There's even a description about Jesus in that book. You should read it by yourself and you're free to make your own decisions. I love the concept of bhakti and dancing and keertan of isckon..... Krishna has always been my dearest sweetest, most adorable God... but i strongly believe that god has made us in a certain way and krishna embodies all that ...beauty, love, mischievousness and such very adorable human traits.. i dont get why we need to glorify the brahminical way of life, where we deprive our self of everything god has bestowed upon us to enjoy... shave our heads and wear saffron robes, stop thinking ,eating and behaving like human beings and start aspiring to be like some version of Chaitanya mahaprabhu and Srila Prabhupad...
