The Radnor Hotel Wedding Video // Gina + Paul // Just the Beginning

When Gina and Paul met, each knew that they had found ‘the one’ very early on in their relationship. They both love hiking, so Paul was sure to propose to Gina while on a hike at Wissahickon Park. Even though Paul had hurt his ankle at a soccer game earlier in the day, he still kept to the plan of an afternoon hike. He took a turn down a path that wasn’t really a path, and when Gina turned to protest, she found him on one knee, asking her to marry him! She was shocked, but said ‘yes’, and made sure to tell everyone they passed on the way back to the car that they had just gotten engaged!
Gina and Paul’s wonderful wedding day arrived in the heart of summer. Gina got ready for her big day at the Radnor Hotel, the same place she would be returning later that evening for their grand reception. We loved her white satin robe that read ‘Bride’ on the back! As they were preparing for their day, Gina and Paul took time to read cards that they wrote for each other. We love that Gina and Paul could take a moment to reflect on their love and share their feelings for each other before the big event.
Gina chose such a fabulous wedding gown! It was a strapless A-line silhouette gown with a delicate beaded belt and tiny buttons down the back. Her full skirt featured an elegant lace overlay. Gina wore her hair down in long wisps and had a long veil attached at the back of her hair. Just lovely! We also absolutely loved the sparkling flats Gina wore under that amazing dress! She was a stunning bride! Gina’s beautiful bridesmaids wore royal blue dresses, each slightly different than the others. Their lovely bouquets from Robertson’s Flowers & Events subtly highlighted the blues, peaches and white of their wedding theme colors. Paul and his groomsmen wore suits with blue ties that coordinated perfectly with the bridesmaids’ dresses… Paul’s tie featured stripes to contrast with the plaid ties worn by his groomsmen. Everything tied together just perfectly!
It was time then to travel to the church to make it official! Gina and Paul’s ceremony took place at St. Katharine of Siena parish in Wayne, PA. The two decided not to have a first look before the ceremony, but rather to save the moment that they see each other for the first time for Gina’s entrance into the church. You could clearly see Paul’s genuine excitement upon seeing his bride for the first time that day! They recited traditional vows and said their ‘I dos’!
Formal photos of the wedding party were taken inside and on the steps of St. Katharine of Siena. Storytellers & Co. also captured candid photos of the happy couple in the colorful gardens outside the Radnor Hotel. We enjoyed working alongside them as we filmed Gina and Paul taking some time of out the hustle and bustle of the day to spend some quiet moments together.
Back inside the Radnor Hotel, the newlyweds were met with cheers from their guests as their arrival was announced at the reception! They shared a touching first dance and wonderful dances with their parents. Then, their guests got into the action as the dance floor opened up to everyone! Schaffer Sound DJs kept the party hopping and everyone had a blast!
Our wish for Gina and Paul echoes the sentiments of their officiant… that they continue to grow everyday in love with one another. Congratulations to the sweetest couple, Gina and Paul!
