On the other hand saying it's based off table top role playing games is a better idea, since the name includes the function. Lastly, who knows what d&d is knows what ttrps is, because d&d is a ttrpg. It's like not knowing that the kleenex in your hand is tissue paper. What I think you are doing is that you are trying to leech off the popularity of d&d with that comparison. This is evil.
