we went to see this in Waterloo yesterday.... it was fantastic! a visual feast of action across the entire stage, pulling on every string of imagination. you could not help but be immersed in the story and the emotions of the characters... i would go to see this again.. 5 stars

I like how this play used an abandoned railway platform instead of a theatre like most other plays in the West End. I also like the idea that it uses actual trains.

0:47 - It's better to use the word 'engine' or 'locomotive' instead of 'train'. Let's NOT forget that the word 'train' means a series of vehicles joined together and the word 'locomotive', let's say, is used to describe the powered vehicle within the train.

I love being in Railway children - they lied about the seating though, it hurts your bum after a while and there's no leg room :)

NRM don't allow for it to steam up so they have to push it with a 08 shunter

Network rail whould never alow the stirling single or victorian coaches on the mainline due to their age. I Reacon they were taken by road to london and pushed into waterloo by a class 08 diesel.

On the plus side, the setting, the cast and the atmosphere of the old station is great. On the minus side the statement that there is plenty of legroom is not true. The front row is the only one with legroom, all the other seats, including the £75.00 premier seats are cramped and jammed in as much as poss. The stewards are the worst I have ever seen. They act like automatons who are unable to talk, help or commuincate in any other way than barking out orders without a please or thank you,
