The Rain Is Coming | Donnie Swaggart | Sunday Morning Service

THE RAIN IS COMING - Today at Family Worship Center, Pastor Donnie Swaggart reads 1st Kings 18:41 sharing how Elijah prophesied of the abundance of rain that was to come amidst the drought. The broken down altar, which was a type of Christ, first had to be repaired before the rain could come. Brother Donnie likens the Baal worship and false doctrines of God’s people then, to the condition of the church today. The church needs to repair as well, by coming back to the Cross; faith in Christ’s sacrifice is to be our only resource. Then as the rain filled the barrels, the water saturated the altar round about, and God’s fire fell on the sacrifice. God’s Word saturates today. When we believe on Jesus Christ alone, who took our judgment on the Cross, and the power of the Holy Spirit will fall. If you’re thirsty and dry, look up to the sky. Brother Donnie says get ready church, for a great move of God is coming.
