I have been a fan since 1997 when I became a mother to my only child. He grew up being a drummer and congero. You signed his bongos in 2007. He is now in his 7th year in the Navy, 2nd tour in Bahrain. You and Derek were his idols and inspiration and that is the truth. I love this song so much. Sending it to my sailor now. This song is so gentle and the lyric so simple and yet it inspires strong emotion. Whether or not this was particularly composed with a child in mind, I encourage all - young and old - to stop whatever you're doing, listen really carefully, and formulate your own opinion of the message. I have taken away a message that I wish I had learned as a child - I'm older now, in fact much older, and still, whilst listening, I couldn't help but wonder why I 'trouble myself with the world' so much. I think that at this age, I have just learned a lesson proving the fact that 'you're never too old to learn.' Martin - this is marvelous.
