This narrator, he is more like a voice actor at times. When he isn't setting the tone for the story, he is creating a personality via his voice for the characters. Other than that, he sounds like your next door neighbor, friendly guy, going out to run errands and mow the lawn. He gets other talented narrators to help with creating other characters sometimes. Good stuff!

This is what make him one of my favorites. I can't stand bland narrators. Near voice acting narrators are the only ones I subscribe to. Love to Lighthouse.

Not " at times " He is " always " a voice actor, I have been with him since he had under 30 thousand subs and since the beginning I have been saying his is an amazing voice actor, He should really get an agent and try to get work in cartoons and Video games Etc with this channel and what ever else he has done He has an amazing resume, He could land major TV and movie rolls, the sky is the limit, and his channel here for now is only growing and getting better all the time

This creeped me out. I live by a wooded area, technically it's biking trails and wider walking paths. There's quite a lot of wildlife for a major city; deer, coyotes, foxes plus the usual ones. Now every time I look out my back yard I'm going to think about this
@arthas6402 жыл бұрын
Same. Stories like these highlight why ots a good idea to have a dog. They pick up things we dont notice and will alert us, and many dogs will fight if they're family is threatened (except chihuahuas which will change sides faster than an italian in a war).
@flordeamapolita2 жыл бұрын
@@arthas640 Ha my neighbor has a tiny obese Chihuahua and there have been a few times eagles have tried to swoop on her. She tried to stand her ground. Thankfully my neighbor was able to save her. It's a weird little area here. In the middle of a city but the amount of bigger wildlife is kind of crazy. Also the amount of homeless that are now camping in the area is somewhat concerning ad well. It's erie to hear a coyote then an argument between homeless as they pass on the trails
@arthas6402 жыл бұрын
@@flordeamapolita I'm guessing western washingron or oregon? It's the same here, I live in a small to medium sized city and theres barely touched woods right on the side of the city limits and woods in the city too. Hobos live near the same woods coyotes and deer live in. I love taking my rottweiler with me since coyotes will sometimes attack small or weak looking joggers and small dogs, and homeless occasionally do the same. A few coyotes came fairly close to me once but once it saw that my rottweiler was 3-4x their size and that their numerical superiority didnt scare her they ran off pretty quick, and I've never met a human dumb enough to pick a fight with a rottweiler. I love hiking and it's always nice not having to worry about some nutjob or feral dog out in the woods, or worry about someone breaking into my house at night. Rottweilers are good family dogs too so shes a sweetheart 99% of the time. My roommates chihuahua is a little dumbass though, it tries to pick fights with bigger dogs and tried fighting one of our chickens once too... and lost when the chicken flapped its wings and the chihuahua ran into a bush and nearly strangled itself when its collar got tangled up and it kept pulling until it nearly choked

My state has a lot of woods and greenery and stuff. (The Natural State, lol) This story was so eerie. I rarely hear a story that doesn't riff off of old tales and other trends in these communities, like the rules, or old myths like vampires and werewolves and Indigenous tales I won't name out of respect for the culture. (If you say the name of these creatures, it brings them to you, or generally discussing them much, so I'm purposefully being vague. It's not a matter of belief imo with this stuff, but respecting the wishes of those the stories originate from.) I really love the way this was clearly influenced by many stories, but not dependant on their concepts.

This is such a fantastic story, holy shizdiddle. I don't get chills super often from these stories tbh, except for the good ones. This one gave me like 2-3 throughout the story, especially the last words, whew, that's, wow. I love stories that come up with a brand new horror concept like this. It isn't a play on the rules, or even classics like vampires, werewolves, all that, it's just this whole new horror. This one's def gonna sit on my mind for a while after all's said and done. Fantastic narration as well, ty for the wonderful story! I have ADHD and struggle to read these myself, so I'm much appreciative of a good narrator of these sorts of stories. Truly. :)

Stories suffer when main characters do stupid things. There was NO REASON for the mother to let the guy drive. None. This was lazy writing. If the author fixed that bit so the character was not responsible for that action (say the creature hit her over the head and stuffed her in the car and the son was unwilling to leave his mom with the nut job) then this would be pretty good for a short story. That's my opinion. Feel free to ignore it if you wish. Just trying to help.
