Your positivity really shines through in your videos and it’s so refreshing! It beats other KZbinrs who complain every time they have to use a voyager, HST, class 150s, etc.

Carry on with doing the random station videos G. I have been to Devon especially Exeter and GWR should still get more trains to increase more extra capacity and to keep the trains they don’t want to get rid of at the moment.
@brianwhittington50866 ай бұрын
It seems strange seeing name plates on HST sets. We used to have fun as kids, guessing which class of loco would be pulling the next train of wagons or carriages, and a bonus point if it was named.
@iandixon22016 ай бұрын
The original GWR had a class of locos called Castle
@brianwhittington50866 ай бұрын
@iandixon2201 The nameplate style always looked better on the original steam engines, styled to fit on the boiler, or wheel boxes.

Great video, G! I went to uni in Exeter and lived right by St David’s station for a year so this has brought back good memories! The “flowing” water you saw at marsh Barton was probably the Exeter ship canal - the oldest canal in the country - built in the 1560s!

Two new(ish) stations in one video! Marsh Barton opened last year to serve the industrial estate and business park, and Cranbrook opened in 2015 to serve the new town that is being built as a planned community. The geek in me now wants to work out for each county/region how many dead end stations there are, and how many stations could only ever be the first of your journey (because no station ends with their first letter)...
@GLovesTrains6 ай бұрын
Go for it! Didn't realise Cranbrook was so new-ish tbh
