I don't know if you are still replying to comments on this video, but can you explain more detail on how you do "spray and drop" technique at 3:44? I tried spraying with my spray bottle, but when I tried dropping in paint, it just sits in a puddle, and doesn't move. If I tilt the board it spreads, but not into branches like yours does. Thank you for your wonderful videos!

it's only a matter of how many water sprayed on the paper. First , when you spray the droplets must be not so small ( you need an adjustable nozzle, you can find everywhere for garden purpose or other ) and the dropplets on the paper must "touch" each other , but not everywhere . I think you'll find the good adjustment

Merci Maestro.

Fantastic sky!! Good tutorial. Thank you. At last an art video with beautiful music, but with a name like Rossini why didn't you play some of his music? Thank you again.

Hello Umberto, another wonderful painting! I think that the Raps field (in german its Raps) but in English its called Canula! Beautiful yellow fields in the spring, we have many here in Switzerland! Thanx again for beautiful work! Regards Robyn

Hi Robyn, I'm English and from the country and I've never heard it called anything but Rape. (A canula is something a doctor puts in a vein in your arm.)
@robynbeltrametti17488 жыл бұрын
Hello Andy, actually its called Canola, i spelt it wrong, it used to be called Rapeseed, but for marketing reasons the name was changed, in Canada....its mostly known under this name there...

Gracias Umberto. Otra clase magistral. Muy útil la reintración de la técnica "spray and drop" que es muy bella de observar en proceso. Hasta el próximo video!! Saludos

Looking at skies -- I love this study, but I have to ask, what accounts for the shift to a rosy sky between 6:13 and 6:16. Can I do a wash that late in the game? Or is it something related to lighting? Still learning ... thanks to you. Good day
