Fun fact, the Quadrasteer option was offered for Suburbans and Yukons from 2004/2006. Am even funnier fact is the prices was insanely high for the option in 2004, then the price went down in 2005 and even further down in 2006 before being completely discontinued in the next generation of gmt900

I had one identical to that for about 8 years! It was an awesome vehicle for hauling the boat to the lake with a bunch of people and supplies.

50k for a 20 year old suburban even with a recent engine swap to a Duramax is a bit much. Quadrasteer did not last for a reason so not a major up-sale point.

The retail price is substantially less than the cost of a duramax conversion. May not make sense for you but alot of people are looking for a heavy duty duramax powered suburban or equivalent which is not available except for this real dmax suburban.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't the clearance lights there *because of* having Quadrasteer? For the same reason the Raptor needs them...the extra width makes them required by law? It's also funny to me that for the Suburban this was only available on the 2500, not 1500.

The clearance light signals oncoming traffic to dim the high beam car lights at night. Helps visibility when cresting hills and mountain passes

Ha, i remember that too. It was probably 15yrs ago. I believe the owner swapped the suburban rear-ended directly onto the h2. Very cool!

No not many. Super tight turning radius. Huge difference! However, it's a costly upgrade from the factory.

I have a question, is the h1 legal in Colorado? I’ve been researching and from what I’ve gathered it’s classified as a ohv, and not street legal, I’m hoping people are mixing it up with the humvee

Civilian H1’s are legal in all 50 states. A military surplus humvee is not road legal in all 50 states.
