A lot of collectors will not say what they have. I've seen my husband's Hot Wheels and he has several never released to the general public. His dad worked for Mattel and got some of them, as did other employees on the Hot Wheel line.

early pink cars were the display models and weren't sold, meaning that pink cars from that time are quite valubale. The rear loading beach bomb was never released since it didn't work with the tracks properly, hence why the pink, rear loading beach bombs are SO valuable

Eyy I need a little help I have a 70 Mustang boss 429 and I went to search it up on Google but couldn't find anything similar. It is green and has a carbon hood and the hood can be popped up the show a circular engine. The wheeler are also rubber and the rims look especially glossy. I had a large hot wheels collection and had the big caring case and also two GI joe's with all the clothes and accessories from the 1960's. In about 1987 I heard that they were collectors items and decided to call my dad . My mom that was passed away by then had told me that she saved them for me in the garage storage locker. So I called my dad and asked him about them and he told me - HE SOLD THEM LAST YEAR AT A GARAGE SALE FOR ABOUT 20 BUCKS. ALL OF IT. It still messes me up this day to think that he didn't even ask me before he sold them.

2:48 Thats not the correct helmet, that helmet shown in the picture is the first model in the beginning of ww1, and its called Pickelhaulbe (Spike Helmet), the helmet on the car is the mid ww1 helmet named Stahlhelm, also used in ww2 and even used nowadays in either original or upgraded formats of the helmet

The funny car isn’t rare. It is only rare in the card. It was pulled from the singles to be put in multi-packs. Without the card, that car is only worth about $8.

In the beginning Hot wheels paint the cars white to check for casting flaws in the molds next they run the white cars through in black to check the coverage of the paint guns. Some of the cars made it into packages cause they were real short on the first run of cars in late 67. Ref history of hot wheels.

My rare hot wheel is a gold mustang with open hood schoops. It has deep dish wheels and 100% original. I opened it as a kid and liked it so much i hardly played with it.

Where to start.... the Beach Bomb came in 2 styles. It is the original without the side pods that is rare. They were actually all prototypes, and both pink ones are known where they are... the blue card 271 Funny Car, it HAS to be on the card. The car itself was quickly later released in 5 packs and the 1995 Race Team series. Several incorrect ones were shown.... the Red Baron, it HAS to be the original 1969 one with spectraflame paint and capped wheels with a white interior that is being discussed here; none shown here was the correct one... the blue Rodger Dodger shown predominantly is the 35th anniversary convention release, which was done to mimic the original one... the Cheetah shown was the retool from this year (though there are a handful of originals)... the Mighty Mavericks were modern retools, though original ones with "Mad Maverick" do exist... the Ed Cheever AMX, definitely an incorrect price mentioned but it is quite rare nonetheless, though one shown is not the one being discussed... there's more wrong here...
