Just unlocked the P-61 and just like they did the Guardian Angel, I wish they'd so some event for WW2 night fighters (and add more to other nations aswell).

Radar means night fighter so it was intended to hunt Lancasters and Halifaxes. Anything twin-engined was easy meat for allied day escort fighters.

​@@atomev8its definitely a war thunder thing it happens to me too but in no other game. The glitches also tend to worsen or improve when updates come out I find.

I would say the 188 is more similar than the 288, so the 188 is it's bomber cousin. The 288 would be it's bomber step cousin

The 388 was a further development of the 188. Continueing to improve the aerodynamics of the 188. The 288 was a standalone vehicle from the 88 series.

This plane would have been fine and dandy if the P.O.S. didn't have such an aim drop, because of how far the guns are pointed down, people hard passed the thing. It just wasn't worth learning and isn't fun to play.

I get that, but I find it fun and a little challenging. Sure it's horrible but that's why it's a rare event aircraft.

I find it fun to fool players that try to head-on me while I 'seem' to climb over them. The gundrop and shoot-down cannons make easy work of them. (Though getting a hit with the Schragemüsik is very hard and the hits you do make, barely do any damage to B-17s and other bombers at the BR).

Got this thing from a tool box crate yesterday. Not only that it sucks in battle, you cannot sell it on the marketplace also. Could not be worse 😮

I actually own this plane as well. It's super cool and I hate using it. Might take it out for a spin in sim and see how it does there though.

I suffer a lot with the P-61 on Air RB, but I've performed really well on SB and Ground RB as CAS and fighter. Maybe you should try it once on those modes.

@@lucasmoreno2154 I don't think the 388 is going to do particularly well in GRB owing to its lack of ordnance. P-61 is definitely better suited to that. But in sim it should be dandy.

good video only 100 of many pre productions aircraft came out of it. mostly L the recon version. Also, I have book on it I like it because shows a lot of rare photos. of the plane
