Signor Pagani invented carbo-titanium and used it to make the passenger cell not for extra stiffness, but for safety. The titanium adds to the carbon fibre the crash characteristics of a metal that will deform during a crash as opposed to only carbon fiber which will shatter.

There is a special mod that makes the taillights look amazing chexk the throtl video of the yellow Skyline they built you will see what I mean, enjoy the build congrats.

Fun fact, when I was in Marbella visiting my sister and my childhood home I saw that very Tricolore parked at Puerto Banus that weekend. At the time I was 14 years old and while I was into cars I didn't have the knowledge back then to know exactly what it was I witnessed. A couple of months ago I scrolled through some photos that I had in my Instagram archive and this thing popped up, and I remembered, hey, that car is familiar. And then I saw the stripes, the blue carbon body, the gold wheels and the white and blue interior. I lost it 😅. The fact that I saw this very car 10 years ago and had no clue that it was this special is funny to me. I obviously knew that it was a Zonda, but not one of the Tricolores.

For real!! I’ve never understood this especially being in construction for a living. They spend all that money on cars and can’t have floor receptacles for power roughed into the slab before they pour it and have them literally right under where they are going to park the cars and you wouldn’t see anything! It drives me mad with televisions also!!! They're cool, but I'll never get the appeal of low production cars. They made 140 Zondas, isn't that special enough? Even 140.000, they'd still be special to me. Special editions aren't even cool unless they're extremely different from stock and truly special. Those "1 of 1 in color X" cars that were made in the thousands, or "because it had Y stripes" are total BS. Collectors and sellers trying to artificially reduce the perceived production number to inflate the perception of value, ownership bias at its finest. But I guess in the end the market speaks, and people with money will always want scarce collectibles, whether for appreciation, status or as a gamble to store value. I couldn't care less, if I had one I'd drive it as much as possible, just like every other car in my many cars garage. In that sense, I have much more respect for those who actually drive their cars, BUT I'm happy for those who don't, so one day I can buy an amazing example and put in the miles myself.
