intresting medusa buff would be if she had a defence with the necro, but only if she stayes at home and uses a token (only with necro), this would make it more useful for the late game if you dont gaze the first 3 nights

Problem is that it makes CL controlling into medusa so much safer, since right now you can accidentally kill them by controlling a vigi into them

Solo Necromancer is harder IMO. Dusa can get claim space by hiding roles and kill visitors. Necromancer is just a sad potato who can claim retri and look sus after round 3.

@@tylermcdorman4199 i i agree that Solo Medium in "all any" is the hardest. But in lovers mode that Solo Necro is harder then solo Dusa. I never questioned the fact that solo medium was the hardest of all time.

Imo Sk and gf have it pretty since their basic attack can't kill any opposing evil except for dusa, which carries a risk on it's own. In a standoff with other evils, those two roles can't possibly win. Not to mention Sk is the only role that can be found by sherrif without risk to the sherrif himself.

Hey pipetron, once I was ww and claimed survivor, in ranked practice (you can't be survivor in ranked) and won - what was the dumbest thing you ever saw someone do/say and noone bat an eye to said thing?

Definitely a great game, but this isn't the rarest win. I've actually gotten 3 wins that I regret not screencapping, because I will probably never have the kind of luck it would take to see them again. A jester only win, a survivor only win, and exe only win. Like, instead of at the end, it saying "Town wins" or whatever, it literally just says one of those 3 roles. They involved the entire town basically killing themselves after I had already gotten my win (except the Surv, since I didn't win until the very end, obviously). There were 4 people left, and they were all kind enough to give me the win as jester. I killed one person via guilt, and the vig/ maf shot each other the same night. The Survivor win was crazy, because the entire town was doused cuz of two arsos (That didn't know about each other), except for myself (Guess they thought they could get my vote). The night before they were ignited, one of the arsos doused the other (I can only guess as to why he didn't stay home and clean. Maybe he didn't realize?), and the night of ignition, the other one had gotten doused, so the last morning, I was the only one that walked out of my house. The exe one happened a while ago, so its a little more vague. I was lynched after already having won, but by the end of it, the last two people somehow managed to kill themselves. I don't remember how because of how long ago it was, but I remember being the only one that won, and it was weird seeing the exe symbol with "Executioner Wins" displayed on the screen. Everyone in chat kinda just sat there for a moment dumbfounded before leaving the game.

Godfather is arguable about as hard as medusa. Just because most of the other roles can kill him to except sk but he also cannot kill most of them. At least medusa has the privilege of having an attack power powerful enough to go through the basic defences.

I could of sworn Medusa could be Roleblocked, but you killed the Escort... buffed??? I would consider solo Plaguebearer the hardest since they are incapable of killing right away, rarely able to by Night 3, and like the Arsonist, have to worry about visiting a Medusa before N4.

They could add a speed mechanic to the game to make roles a little better and more unique. Mainly so that roles like medusa and serial killer have a few more mechanics to them. I was thinking a cool idea would be if medusa doesn't attack then she kills anyone who comes for her before they can attack. Except for maybe like pirate, serial killer, or vigilante. If she attacks it generates the same effect as if she attacks right now. Serial killer could attack before their target does their action. So they'll properly win vs virtually any other role 1 vs 1 like they probably should. If you think about what he is, he's basically just a mafioso without a team. However, I don't think he should necessarily lose to arso or really any other evil role 1 vs 1 because they have a lot of advantages over him. He could still lose to bodyguards and support roles to even it out. They could add it to crappier support roles too so that it makes them immune to ambusher and effects like that too. I think this could add another layer of depth that could help differentiate the rolls a little more. Also weaken and strengthen certain roles that could be overperforming or too weak. They could also change vampire hunter to be a role that changes depending upon the settings. So that he could be another role that counters coven a little harder. So he could change from Vampire Hunter to a Werewolf hunter then to a Witch Hunter and then finally to Vigilante at the end. Doesn't have to be exactly this, but a morphing town class sounds cool. They didn't accomplish the versatility it should probably have with so many roles in the game.

Solo witch in town traitor is harder XD Edit: oh, in lover's mode only. I would argue that solo medusa has the benefit of creating claim space for itself, and that's the tradeoff for being squishy. There's an argument for solo godfather, since they can be locked down by TS and have no good claim space. They can also be killed at night by all of the evil roles except for SK.

I won as solo necro in coven all any by claiming retributionist and gaining town's trust that way, even going to far as to use dead vigi on mafia and then getting juggernaut lynched a few days after and using dead jugg on last townie since all the other evils aside from pirate were dead. Solo necro ain't that hard unless if there is a retri to cc you.

A harder win than this? Solo High Elo Ranked Arsonist with no mafia kills from last season. iRepptar has done it and it is an incredible display of guile and misdirection. The reasons I consider it harder is because in that mode, Town eliminates claimspace quickly, there are multiple ways you can be outted and everyone wants you dead (just like solo dusa). Only real benefit you have over the Medusa is Defense.

Wait, how did he stone the escort? Doesn't medusa get rb'd when being visited by escort?

It's a bug with pirate I think. Pirate seems to block normally role block immune roles from doing their role (escort,trans,witch,etc.), but still lets them visit who they chose that night. So the escort visited the medusa and a lookout or tracker would see them visiting, but the escort doesn't actually roleblock their target which in this case let the medusa stone them. Except for vet it seems, vet still kills visiting pirate if they alert
