Saw them perform this at Carnegie Hall in NYC in 1971 with Alice Coltrane playing harp. Magical music, magical evening!!!! May those evenings happen for all. :))

Don Bosco I’m in awe. I’ve never figured out why this album doesn’t have more of a following - to this day, I still put it on. For morning listening, it’s unbeatable

Was this also the concert that also featured Layra Nyro ?
@FuckOfAShit6 ай бұрын
@@johnstix7874 yes. The Alice Coltrane performance from this night has just been released as a 2 x CD set by Impulse. Laura Nyro, The Rascals, and Alice were all disciples of Satchidananda, who the concert was a benefit for.

Bought this album in 1970 and just decided to listen again. This cut is great and you can really appreciate Felix's fabulous voice. Ron Clark

Not only did I appreciate hearing this album, again, but I also appreciated reading the comments. I received a nice feeling from both.

I love the way the drums and percussion pick it up and bring it down in waves. I get so lost in this tune I almost head-bang to it. :D x

I swa the Rascal Band in 1972 at Kleinhan's Music Hall in Buffalo. They did this whole Peaceful World album. This kind of music has not been invented yet.

This beautiful Felix Cavaliere (who WAS the Rascals) creation came out the same year as "Sergeant Pepper" and was blown away by the genius of Lennon/McCartney. Shame, because this is a special album.
@ohlukkyman8 жыл бұрын
"Sgt Pepper..." was released in 1967, "Peaceful World" in 1971.
