Probably my favourite artist of all time. So many better tracks though. "What's it gonna be" is a criminally underrated track (kzbin.info/www/bejne/qXKqlGR3oNR4oNk) - should have been a massive hit. In 1992 when I was 16, I got my driver's license and a pickup truck. I started driving myself and my little sister to school and back every day. It being my ride I chose the music and my sister would complain that I would play the "Waking Up the Neighbors" album all the time front to back. Years later, when she was in college, I found out my sister had went to a Bryan Adams concert. Turns out she became a huge fan of his. I can't help but think it was in part me making her listen to him every day when she was 12. 😂

We were lucky enough to see him a few years ago in Quebec. W O W. We were right up front and there were several microphones, one was right in front of us. When he used that mic, he was maybe like 15 feet from us. My wife was in heaven. She absolutely loves him. He was totally amazing. Some artists don't hold up but after 40 years he still has it!

My appreciation for much of the 80s didn't happen until 20 years after the 80s. I have to say that the Grateful Dead dominated much of those 20 years as I became a Dead fan in the early 90s.
