yes, this critically acclaimed, emmy award winning show is entirely superficial with nothing to read into at all. don't even bother theorizing. matter of fact, when the screen cuts to black at the very end before we get to see what happens to tony, it's not actually intended to be ambiguous. canonically, the entire universe destabilizes and destroys all matter inside of it.

I don't think Christopher was a rat cause more than anything, he was afraid of living a honest life more than he hated his life with Tony. His loyalty was always shaky like all the other guys, but at the end of the day, they all stuck to crime because they enjoyed it and they didn't want to know anything else. Even the ones that turned rat couldn't keep it up if they weren't benefitting every second of the time. Chris knew he was going to be stuck suffering because of Tony to the very end and he did. His life would've been way better if he could've ratted, but he was too weak and scared to take those steps.

I just looked up the last scene of Chrissy. It is truely strange how desperate he is to get the stereo to higher volume while getting increasingly nervous. Tony realises something is up but I think he puts it on the drugs Chris mentioned and ends up killing him, because he would be a danger to his child.
@leeroyjenkins60613 ай бұрын
The only other time? There are tons of scenes where characters wear ball caps including Tony, Paulie, Carmine, Adrianna, AJ, Jackie Jr, and other minor characters throughout the show. Hard to take your video seriously when it starts off with a major falsehood.

Chris definitely would’ve become one with enough time. But it’s hard to say if he was in that final scene, really - The cap could’ve just been a callback to him having no real arc (first appearance of him)

Your suspicions could of been Tony's suspicions as well, it was just left to interpretation on the viewers part because they didn't let the viewers inside Tony's head about that whole possible issue. Tony was already severely depressed about Pussy being a rat, to the viewers that aspect of Tony's suspecting another close partner was now closed off into his own private mind. But there were indicators like Tony increasingly getting fed up with Chris because he was showing weakness in many regards. It could of easily made Tony think Chris had become susceptible to being flipped. This also helps explain why Tony decided to end Chris because he finally came to the conclusion Chris had flipped, add to the fact he killed Chris silently, nothing could be picked up on a wire if Chris was wired, although I forgot if their last conversation was something that could expose Tony or not. In any case, this is some insight I never really thought about until you pointed out the possibility. I always thought Tony killing Chris was kind of leftfield, especially with all they been through together. I mean Tony had a reason, but to me it didn't seem sufficient enough of a reason for Tony to take such actions unless he knew Chris became a rat.
@ricardovonpepsistein34972 ай бұрын
@@FantomP. So they let the viewer inside Tony's head about every single issue or plot point but this? No, this is just a bullshit theory.
@FantomP.2 ай бұрын
@@ricardovonpepsistein3497 Well threy show the viewers Tony's increasingly growing dissapointment with Chris, it doesn't seem neccessary to see into Tony's head about what he's thinking about him, especially when you see Tony's facial expressions about Chris' addictions. This guy was suspose to be his successor.
@ricardovonpepsistein34972 ай бұрын
@@FantomP. But this has absolutely nothing to do with the ludicrous theory in this video.
@FantomP.2 ай бұрын
@@ricardovonpepsistein3497 Not ludicrous at all, Chris even mentioned he could make one phone call and it would be over for Tony literally an episode before he got killed by Tony. He also was a drug addict, the same offense that got Pussy to turn. Plus the bitterness Chris feels for Adriana being offed on Tony's orders. So the components are there for Chris to have flipped. Remember when Tony killed Ralphie and called Chris to help him dispose of the body and he came high, Tony was pissed, he even asked him, but he didn't have time to rip him about it. Al those things add up in Tony's mind, it's accumalative, otherwise Tony killing Chris seems a bit of an overaction unless he figured out Chris is flipped or about to flip.

Christopher would vent to Adriana and JT about how much he hated Tony and being in his crew but as far as speaking to the feds he has entertained the thought but never acted on doing it.
