This is why we are so fond of Peter the Pointer. A tale of redemption.. Peter the pointer wasn't always a beacon of childish amusement. Children, instead of cowering, laughed as Peter directed their attention to the latest epic RC car. Peter, the once dreaded Claw, was finally free. He was a guiding hand in a world of joy, a testament to the power of redemption, and a silent reminder that even the darkest of objects can find a purpose in the light. Now, with each point, Peter didn't just direct attention, he pointed towards a brighter future, a future filled with laughter and the thrill of the RC race.

If legit, that's a steal. But read the reviews for that seller. Lots of deception and fraud claims tied to them. You are rolling the dice anytime you buy from Aliexpress, but in this case, I'd say there is an ever higher chance you could be filing a dispute with your credit card company. Someone like PayPal will back you if it's fraud, so maybe it's worth a try. Let's me know how it goes! 😂

I got the RGT branded one a couple of weeks back as i wanted the Green one, and have to say its awesome truck with a really good radio, im running mine with a home made 4200mah 2S Li-ion pack as this keeps the weight down over the rear, the body shell feels a little weak but i look after my trucks, yes this is a very good rig, and having clear windows with a scale interior is really showing Traxxas up, well done on you for donating the spare one

The difference in RTR from now and four years ago is pretty impressive. Just think about how much better low speed control on rigs has gotten to allow you to be able to do some tech crawling right out of the box. I think that's the most impressive part of not only this but a lot of new rigs.

You missed the fact it's got overdrive and counter rotating driveshafts which is very rarely seen together if ever.

Axial did this basically with the scx10.3 where you could make the transmission have a dig or 2 spd or both I think I’m not sure but that’s what I do know also has portals and just need to add a winch

The reason I got back into the hobby after a very long break is the availability of RTR trucks. I know many people who are the same. Tinkering when you break things is great fun, having to build from scratch is not.

Is it just me... Or are Ni-MH packs making a comeback? The old school round form factor was an endangered species at one point, but now they seem to be making a comeback? Is it a shipping thing, in that LiPo is so volatile and difficult to ship that manufacturers are making the switch back? I just went through a Tamiya binge, where I put 5 of their kits together and spent much time looking for LiPo's that'll fit the wonky shape, but here's Phil with a new FTX that takes the same form factor. Are radio crystals and Novak ESC's next?

Definitely with brushed 1/10th vehicles as 8.4v Ni-Mh gives virtually the same top end as a 7.4v lipo, yes less acceleration but a lot easier to manage and safer

Reedy Wolfpack’s are the same shape as the NI-MH or the old NICAD batteries Team Associated makes the Wolfpack and there great batteries. The 7.4 forgive I’ve been out of it for awhile. I just finished a grasshopper I know but I love the way it looks and never had one plus it was candy green which I like more. Yea so the wolf pack is the way to go . No hard box LI-PO just a regular shaped battery pack.

So I love me some FTX but I now know what it's not available in the USA. If you exchange $359.99 into USD it's $448. in the USA the TRX4 is $475 so they are only $20ish bucks less that a TRX4. Now I get why you cannot get them here. Maybe I will have one of my UK buddies bring me one over in October when they come visit. Pay the shipping and you may as well get a TRX4.
