The RCU-55 remote-control tracked carrier: Cleaning a retention pond with PMM/RCU mulcher

In October of 2023, we got the chance to demo this RCU-55 with Bill Green of Ag-Pro Companies. Outfitted with a PMM mulcher, it made quick work cleaning this overgrown retention pond outside of the Hall County Fire Station in Flowery Branch, GA.
The RCU-55 is a compact tracked carrier that can mulch vegetation up to 6 in in diameter, here equipped with a PMM flail mower head. It is equipped with a 56-hp Kohler engine.
The RCU-55 can work on steep slopes up to 55°. The heavy-duty undercarriage features a hydraulic variable track system with independent undercarriage frames for maximum stability on steep terrain.
The high-profile rubber, or steel, tracks combined with the undercarriage’s triple-flange style oscillating rollers system provides unbeatable traction.
The dual hydrostatic transmission makes it easier to manage traction and the attachment.
