what does this cost and is it better than a flail mower? How much horsepower does it require Thanks
@Dirtay427 Жыл бұрын
If you have a tractor stick with your flail mower this piece of equipment is not intended for use on a front loader tractor it is intended for skid steers, the hydraulic flow that the tractor puts out is not sufficient enough for this piece of equipment to operate properly that's why their footage is sped up and there's no audio just music
@F150customs Жыл бұрын
You just need to get a brush hog… i have the exact tractor and set up. The brush hog will do a fine job. That attachment is better used for going underneath tree lines so you don’t get smacked with limbs… putting it up in the air like that is going to get you hurt. Be careful…. That brush you were cutting could have easily been cut with that zero turn you mentioned also…

@Dirtay427 Жыл бұрын
The reason there's no audio and just music because they had to speed up the footage because that Implement is not designed for a front-loader it's designed for skid steers because they front loaders hydraulic flow is not sufficient enough to operate that piece of equipment even at its minimum settings so you that's also why the video footage is sped up

Should have gotten a brush hog or landpride rotary mower. I do 28 acres in about 2 hrs
@knightwalkr4 ай бұрын
A rotary cutter bush hog would have been a ton better than that for that job. You back in with it going and if it’s to tall or thick you just keep pulling up and backing into it until it’s all down. It won’t do those big trees but everything you did here is about a 30 minute job at most with a 5 foot rotary

@wildbill23c Жыл бұрын
Guess you could use that as a hedge trimmer on steroids LOL. Those mowers are pretty innovative in the different ways you can position it for cutting all sorts of different stuff....gotta have a tractor that can handle it though, that's a lot of weight hanging off the loader, especially when you have it in the offset configuration and mowing overhead...puts a lot of weight off the one side of the tractor. Property looks so much better with what you've cleared with that mower already. Just ran across your channel and was looking at some of the wood working stuff, have to sub just for the wood working stuff the orange tractor stuff is a great bonus....I just have a Kubota BX2680, lots of stuff it can do but running things like that off the loader ain't one of them LOL.

Hi I noticed you have some wild rhubarb on your property, you need to get rid of that ASAP, if you have any young kids running around and they touch that they will come out with big purple blisters that are very painful it is found anywhere in the UK the council will come out and posing it and tape the area off until it is all dead.

For the cost of that machine, you could hire a contractor to clear all that in a day and have change. Lane shark might be a good idea for someone like me. I need to clear and reclaim 90 acres...
@Woodbrew Жыл бұрын
There is a major flaw in this statement. If I pay someone to clear it all then who is going to keep it clear? It’s not like a someone can come in and mulch the place and the next day I’m out there on a riding lawn mower. There is substantial work needed to get the property to a riding lawnmower state and even then the up keep is horrible. Not to mention all the quotes I received for clearing the property were all more than the lane shark. You will spend your entire life keeping 90 acres clear with a 4ft wide lane shark. You need to get yourself a high flow Kubota Skidsteer and Mulcher or this is just dumb…. See how comments like this are so unproductive?
