It kind of upset me seeing how people talk about how sad is that they don't hit it big, as if their 12 years career didn't exist and pity them, beast were actually a pretty big deal in Korea, even Koreans in general knew them and recognized their flawless abilities and looks, yeah they are not as popular as in their prime time but they are still loved, they also know that, have said it themselves, and that they will keep making music for lights as long as we want them to, they aren't doing it for charts or awards, they already had that, if not how can you explain an idol group still here after 12 years of debut...

this is so on pont. they even said on their interview with jessi that they are happy now since they are the CEOs and only do what they want to. i believe every group will pass by stages on their carreers like when they do the "formula" to be popular and then when they get fans and stable carreers they can do the music they want to.

Agree. These boys have gotten Song of the Year and Daesangs before. Their public recognition in Korea is high, and I'm sure many of them know them individually by names. If not, at least one to two of their songs. I'm an international fan in U.S. and most of my middle school friends during early 2010s knew about B2st, especially after Fiction was out. It doesn't upset me that much, because I just take it as they either aren't into kpop for too long or they just don't know too much about these boys HAHA. Like Cube is THE Cube today because of B2st and 4minute. Don't be too disappointed, Kpop has changed a lot. As Lights, I'm just glad all their comebacks screams HIGHLIGHT and B2ST. They never loss their uniqueness!

we have to agree that Beast is one of the group that expanded kpop wider to the world. they were so famous back then. my middle school friends knew their songs especially shock, beautiful, fiction and beautiful night bcs those songs were played frequently on radio and television. they were the first group from nonbig3 that won daesang. truly an inspiration to all other groups from smaller companies. that’s why alot of their junior boy groups named them as their role models and always fanboying for beast and highlight❤️

Actually beast was pretty big in their time, is sad that people don't know that, they were really popular even not fans, Dujun was popular for his look and persona with women (he was the number 1 idol korean moms wanted to be their son in law lol) and for his athletic abilities with men, they are recognized as the group with no flaws in vocals and that's a fact between koreans, just like infinite was popular in korea for how friendly they always were, they are not as popular as back in the day sure, but they still are at least in korea

Love that they’re being acknowledged in Korea 🥺 they’re truly one of the living legend in kpop especially for a group that was called as recycled coz they didn’t managed to debut in Big 3 and ended up in a small company. The saddest thing is they literally brought up the small company and that company even almost became one of the big3, at that time Beast, HyunA and 4Minute really made the company big. I think the company went too greedy in the end and blew everything up. It all went down when the old CEO got sick and changed though-- if only he didn't get sick I think everything will be different now. Oh well I'm just glad beast/highlight is surviving until now, it's really not easy for them, maybe that's why many staffs and other artists on tv shows etc. helped them a lot too

쫌,. 쫌 서운하네요 헤이데이 개인적으로 이 시리즈 영상들 늘 보고있고 안본거 없을정도로 계속 보고있었는데. 다른분들 정도의 애정이나 노력같은게 잘 안보이는게.. 비스트, 하면 유명한것들은 없네요 비스트가 실력파아이돌, 라이브 잘하는 아이돌 이란 수식어를 갖게 했던 MR제거도 없고 그 유명한 양돈노도 없고 지금은 폭우오는날엔 짤로 더 유명해진듯 하지만 사실은 아직까지도 비만 오면 차트인 및 역주행 해버리는 당시 (억울하게 붙은)19금 딱지붙은 앨범에 수록곡, 게다가 음원이 3개로 갈려버리기까지 했지만 연간 4위까지 해버린 아이돌 발라드 명곡으로 꼽히는 비가오는날엔도 없고 당시 엄청난 라인업을 뚫고 무려 중소출신 아이돌 중 최초로 대상을 받았던, 심지어 이건 지금까지도 중소출신 중 대상받은 가수라고는 방탄이랑 비스트 달랑 두 팀 뿐인 엄청난 기록인데 이것도 없고 그외에도 나와야 할 것들이 죄다 빠져있는..

구)뷰티 현)라이트 아미인 한명인데요 와 근데 이말하면 꼰대 같지만 저 시대에 나온 아이돌이 제일 재밌었고 무대도 재밌고 연말시상식도 진짜 재밌었어요..ㅠㅠㅠ옛날꺼 보다가 요즘꺼보면 진짜 아무 흥미가 안나요…그나마 방탄이나 세븐틴이나 마마무나 투바투나 몬스타엑스 이런 퍼포먼스랑 무대가 좀 짱짱한 아이돌들께 재밌죠..저 때는 다른 아이돌이랑 콜라보 한 아이돌들이 많이 있기도 하고 남돌들이 여돌꺼 하기도 하고 따로 프로그램 만들어서 김신영님이 개사해서 무대하기도 해서 진짜 재밌었거든요ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ 아 다시 옛날처럼 해줬으면 좋겠다..저 때 아이돌 어디갔니..시상식에서 안불러주니 볼 수가 있나..진짜 서러워 죽겠네..
