I know a man who was a prison officer during the time chopper was in pentridge. And what i was told made alot sense and was quite interesting. He said that during choppers time in pentridge he was actually very tough and violent and cpuld handle himself, chopper was feared by alot of inmates. He waged war within the prison against rivals/enemies. Choppers gang/ group were out numbered by quite alot, but chopper and his crew implemented various tactics and strategies to attack the enemy. Extremely violent.... You also have to understand the priaon system was alot different back then, it wasnt regulated and as open as it is today. Back in those days things happened and was not documented, the prisom system was closed off to the outside world, so things was alot easier to keep under the rug and kept quiet.

Chopper never persuaded the nation that he was a criminal genius, he was always straight up about his history. "Never let the truth get in the way of a good story " M B Reid. Fact is , some of it was true, some not, some exaggerated. He was a character with knack for spining a yarn. Do you honestly believe that all underbelly series are 100% accurate? Hope not.
